Great little cafe, buzzing with awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. Coffee is superb, not bitter and full of flavour. Cupcakes are amazing. Love the salted caramel and also the honeycomb. I will go out of my way to get a coffee there when i visit Perth.
I ordered 24 cupcakes with rainbow colours and LGBT+ in STEM logos for 5th July LGBT+ in STEM Day. With only 2 days notice, I sent Sweet Remedy photos of my friend's awesome designs from last year. The cakes turned out beautifully. Little arched rainbows on fluffy clouds of piped white icing on some, and others with piped rainbow swirls of icing with the LGBT+ in STEM Day logo. They even did some gluten-free/vegan/dairy-free versions for the dietary restricted. The team at work and guests were very impressed. The cakes were yummy also - my favourite is the red velvet. I've been back to try some of their other flavours since .... the cherry ripe cupcake mmmm.
Cupcakes look gorgeous and quite tasty. Coffee nice. Sadly, even with a pre-booking it seemed that the cafe side of the business was unable to cope with our 12 orders for lunch and drinks. Many ingredients unavailable for their bagels and jaffles. When 3 orders didn't come out, the waitress was most certain that they had. She also charged us again to make them up. No apologies though later the owner did clear up the matter most apologetically and provided the refund. The waitress also making it apparent a few too many times that they closed at 2pm, also put a little dampener on the planned Birthday celebration.
I come here 5 days a week and love the coffee and the service. They often go the extra mile and deliver to my shop if we are both busy. They are very community minded and supportive. This family run business is truly an asset for the Leederville community.
I have walked past this cafe for 3 months and decided to finally try it last Wednesday. I ordered a chai latte and vanilla cupcake. So disappointed. The best thing was the icing on the cupcake, that's also with the service from the guy behind the counter. Chai was so bland like dish water and the cupcake was dry and old.
Yummy cupcakes but average service. What a shame the tables were all dirty while there were 2 staff members working/talking at the front shop. Not even busy, no other customers to serve while I was there and still no clean table to sit at. Not a good 1st time there for me ...
We love The Sweet Remedy. They are friendly, have great service and consistently deliver great coffee everytime. Our kid loves exploring their child friendly back yard, the cubby and slide is a hit. Make sure you try their banana bread!
I have ordered cupcakes from here a number of times and each time they have looked and tasted amazing! I highly recommend them for their great service and stunning cakes. Thank you Sweet Remedy.
Tossing up between 2 or 3 stars but on the basis that I don't plan on rushing back I say 2... The main reason being the back courtyard was the main draw card for meeting up with my mum friends however the state of the yard has become increasingly disappointing. Today it is litrally a patch of dirt/lawn/wood chips with a broken slide, dirty cracked shell sandpit, blackboard with no chalk and rabbit in a tiny cage with no water - not like some of the old photos. Oh and a empty little cubby house. My main issue was the slide and sandpit shell are health & safety issues both totally cracked with large sharp shards of plastic sticking up. Food & hot drinks were okay, nothing amazing - although the cupcakes do look beautiful & make for a happy 3yr old. Also disappointed that instead of the usual $1-2 babychinno they have a kiddy milk on the menu for $4! So your looking at around $9 just to get a kid a cupcake and milk drink which with multiple kids gets pricey but I would be willing to pay if there was well cared for things for the kids to do outside - even nature play type things, logs, swings, clean sandpit? Some more kiddie food options too ie mini cupcakes.
I ordered a cupcake bouquet for my sisters birthday, it was fabulous , she loved it. It looked amazing. I would highly recommend this cafe. Thank you so much.
