A classic, classy, old school Parisian seafood spot. Expensive, but worth it. Martini was spectacular, and everything we ate was cooked perfectly. If you’re looking for a special upscale night out in Paris, this is the place. Oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had, especially the Belons.
Delightfully old school. Its limited menu and exorbitant prices somehow add to its mystique. You’re definitely paying for atmosphere; there just aren’t many places like this left. Service is cordial venturing on indifferent; I suspect it’s a different experience for their well-heeled regulars and those who venture deep into the impressive wine list. I never regret going, but I often find myself [briefly] rationalizing the spend after the fact. Then I come to my senses, and book again.
We had to say we had an amazing dinner this evening…. Cesar and frank I hope I am correct took great care of plus, excellent recommendations. We have had many oysters but got to say these were by were fantastic… yes, get pricy with drinks but when in Paris, some must treat themselves…. Merci beaucoup….
We came for a cocktail, both of which were excellent. The room is architecturally and historicalally lovely. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the service did not meet our expectations. Our server was not attentive, which was disappointing at this level. Other than that, it was a lovely place in Lyon to have a drink in a place of such important history.
Wonderful experience in this historic restaurant. The service was good, and the food was decent. Just for the qualité prix, this was way too expensive..
We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here. It was a glamorous evening at an old school ornate beautiful French seafood restaurant with excellent staff who were professional, but friendly, and made sure everything was done right. We had everything from the foie gras, langoustines, and whole roasted Sole Meuniere, to the Millefeuille for dessert. It was a wonderful evening.
We ordered a salad, French onion soup and the escargot. I loved the soup and snails. The salad felt kinda basic and not very tasty. We might have just ordered something and just didn’t realize how it was supposed to taste. The French onion soup felt like it had been cooking for hours and had a lot of love and care put into it. First time we ate snails in France and I really enjoyed the flavor and taste.
High quality see food restaurant with great service! Everything we've ordered was super tasty The prices for such quality dishes in Paris are reasonable by my opinion, would highly recomend this place.
If you are looking for fish or seafood, Le Dome Cafe is a great place. Typical French brasserie, with good service. Highly recommended.
Good seafood restaurant. If you are looking for it then this is a good option. I also had a veal dish, burrata salad and some desert
