Beautiful view of ocean. There is some construction happening with the building near the dock. Restrooms accessibility temporary port-o-potty unless there is restroom on a boat you will be setting off on. Plenty of parking and friendly enviorment.

What a great place! That’s why we chose to base our own party boat here. Z Pier is Aucklands charter base located 20mins walk from the viaduct. Very scenic marina with views of the harbour bridge and sky tower. Plenty parking although temporarily limited / restricted by a construction lay down area. Watch out for the parking wardens who do their rounds more here than any other place probably because of the scenic location and happy energy of the place. May be also because there is plenty cars with expired parking tickets. If you are boarding any of the Party Boats or Fishing charters just make sure you know how many hours you will be away and then add a couple, more hours on to your parking fees just incase of any delays or impromptu extensions of trips. There used to be Billfish Cafe in front of our boat but it closed down during Covid 19 lockdowns sadly. Waiting for the next cafe to open up and soon I hope. Z Pier is a great place to go even if just to watch the happy energy of the customers boarding and even more happy on their return after a great party out on the water or having caught enough fish to feed the family. . It also has two boat ramps for boaties to launch and retrieve their trailer boats or jet skis. Can be entertaining to watch. Westhaven Marina have good safety systems in place. 24 / 7 monitored security CCTV surveillance and foot patrols by their friendly dock staff who do the rounds making sure everything is in order. 10 min walk to the harbour bridge and the shore side fishing areas set up there with baiting stations. Stuck for something to do on a saturday or sunday? Come down for a look.

Was easy to find to follow the instructions and also follow the parking, great loved the bacon and egg slice from the cafe b4 gettin on our charter to go fishing.

Had a excellent time and enjoyed the experience with the charter trip today aboard the boat great facilities

Just wish there was better parking option for people who come for the dragon boat training. We always end up paying double the rate for having to park there 15 mins more. This is the story 3 times a week for about 5 months.

The location of this place is amazing. Just don't park on the red lines by the cafe, It's reserved. We were late and didnt read the signboard.
