The Sphinx Hotel is a taste of Egypt situated in the heart of Geelong. The 15 metre Sphinx is your one stop entertainment venue in Geelong. As well as comfortable 3 star air conditioned rooms, you may dine in the popular Pharaohs Bistro which is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and fully licensed.

Other facilities include TAB/Sportsbar, Entertainment Lounge, Luxor Lounge Conference & Function Room, Drive-Thru Liquor Store and Cazbar Dance Club which operates every Sat ,with Live Bands & Saturday Nights Retro A Go-Go.

The Sphinx Hotel is located in North Geelong off the Midland Highway. Only 5 minutes to Geelong City, 50 minutes to Melbourne CBD, close to North Geelong Railway Station and the Arena, home of the Geelong Supercats.

Great value meals here. I haven't been for many years. I was very surprised. I became a member and was surprised what value I get with the card. My client and I had the seniors meal, and boy, they were a decent size. I definitely recommend coming here lunch or dinner. Fantastic meals and atmosphere
Had a great birthday celebration with my wife Pamela. Meal and drinks were great too!! Thanks for the voucher and the birthday dessert. Julie's daughter looked after us exceptionally well. Thanks!!
Had a family lunch here and was pretty average. Entrees were lovely but the chicken Parma was tasteless as was the carbonara. The ones from domino's has more flavour. Some of the wait staff were lovely young lady mid 20s with long dark hair who always smiled, was friendly with the kids with us and was polite.nnOn the other hand there was another girl about the same age with short dyed blond hair and tatts up her arms that was downright rude. Harldy a grunt when we place our orders and when my daughter went to ask about desserts for her and her family she was treated to the same grunt and then walked off while my daughter was still talking. The place wasn't even busy. Due to the rude service from her none of us ordered desert and went elsewhere.nnNext time we visit family in Geelong we will be going elsewhere.
Had my first time at Karaoke. The histt Steph made me feel so welcomed and made me feel right at home. The staff were also so welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend the Karaoke to anyone. Will come again
We were a larger group and went for lunch on Easter Monday. The staff and service were amazing despite being a busy afternoon. The food was top notch as well. Only thing I ould say is there is room for improvement on the pizza's. Felt like from the frozen section but other than that everything was great!!
