Terrible attitude from front of house. When we complained about the quality of the water see pic. Lift did not work and had to do almost 10 flights of stairs at least twice a day. No acknowledgement or discount on the cost of the apartment was offered. Bad Service. Try somewhere else. Response: The booking was done in my partners name which I won't disclose. And there were definitely issues with the lifts and the water.
First time staying here and was very pleased with my experience. From the fact that when making bookings and checking things like the parking lift, you speak with one of the lovely people who also work on reception, which means it feels a more personable engagement. Rooms are large but would suggest taking the upper floor option for more room and natural light. Great location for all shops, estaurants, and ransport , but tucked away a little so quiet. Being a self-contained suite, the facilities were also good with a gas top range and substantial fridge.
Had a great stay for a week. The location was perfect and staff very friendly. The only suggestion would be improving lighting in bathroom but apart from that we will return here whenever in Melbourne.Rooms: 4/5
Stayed 3 nights Wed 5 Oct - Sat 8 Oct in a one bedroom apartment on level 14 with three nights added parking. Checking in was very easy, we were given the garage door opener, drove in, went in the car lift and parked. We easily found the guest elevator that goes straight from the parking area to your floor level. We have a Holden Captiva and it fit in both the lift and assigned car space very easily. The room was tidy, clean and ready for guests. The TV and heater were already on for us which was a nice touch. The apartments have everything you could ask for in order to do as little as possible: there is crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. full sized refrigerators, gas hobs and dishwasher draw. The bathroom was very clean with ample consumables shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. so that you can freshen up as soon as you get it. There were two towels, two face washers, a hand towel and a foot towel - the advantage of a washer and dryer in every bathroom euro style laundry space, also with stainless steel trough means you don’t need 50 spare towels because you can wash and dry as much as you please during your stay! There is also an ironing board, iron and clothes horse! The furniture was very clean and wasn’t worn or ragged at all. The Queen size beds are medium firm and the pillows are nice and fluffy. There is an IGA market literally within 500m or so. A Woolworths within walking distance also in a mall with Priceline, BigW etc. so the position is wonderful. We stayed as my Fiancé was having surgery at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear but preferred staying out of the CBD. At the time of posting, a “comfort” level Uber with 4.8 star rating was only $17 from District SY to the Eye and Ear which we found more than reasonable. Each member of reception we spoke to were friendly and helpful and we have absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be staying here as our first pick in the future.
1. Absolutely disappointed with the services provided. - The room service/cleaning was absolutely of no use. We had to clean the rooms ourselves the only service provided with room service was cleaning the bed. However, there was no vacuuming of the place done, no cleaning of the tables, no cleaning of the kitchen or floors. Absolutely disappointing room service. I had to clean the toilets myself. What kind of service apartment is this? 2. Not at all Happy with the receptionist, who denied to provide services. For example, we requested for extra dish washing tablets and we were told that you will only be able to provide us with extra items if we pay for it. This was never disclosed to me nor this is expected out of you guys. 3. Not worth the money at all. They should stop calling themselves a 4-star hotel. This isn’t even a 1 star hotel.
Wouldn’t recommend staying here. The receptionist was extremely rude, unhelpful and lifeless. The check in process extremely burdensome. Rooms advertised as queen beds but were in fact double beds. This is misleading and we would not have booked here had we known they were double beds. The water pressure was weak and the temperature fluctuating between scolding hot and icy cold.
Love this place, stay every time I’m in Melbourne. Great cafe downstairs, comfy rooms with nice little touches
This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The rooms are large, new and very clean. Each room has its own air conditioning unit which means you will not get Covid from any other guest. The car park is very secure. I used to stay in the city but will always stay here from now on. Great value for money too.Rooms: 5/5

They cancelled our accomodation while we were flying down because we hadn’t checked in by 8, then when I called to query she said well too bad, we’re travelling with 3 kids under 5 which was noted on the booking, seemingly of no care to reception. Would not recommend, would not ever consider an Aparthotel again based off this experience
