Always love coming to the Shed on a weekend for a nice lunch before hitting the shops. This joint at Hurstville was awesome as always. The lamb kofta was juicy and delicious along with the vegetarian fritters. Hot chocolate was also pleasant. They’ve got a great overall vibe too with lots of Christmas decorations at this time and a real cosy feel.
Dropped in to have some dinner with the kids, prior to watching a movie. Ordering was a breeze they had a wide variety of options to choose from. Pricing was getting up there a little but it was manageable for my finances. I didn’t have to wait to long for my steak sandwich. It was delicious and it came with a large serving of French fries. You can tell I was hungry by the fact I forget to take a pic of my meal lol. All-in-all, it was a good dining experience.
Absolutely garbage service and somehow, even worst food. Waited about 30 minutes for an overcooked omelette with a pathetic sprinkle of ham and watery mushrooms. Had to chase up on the poached eggs and toast which somehow took 40 minutes to make. They then realise they had no smoked salmon so just served it without telling me or offering to refund me the difference. There was barely anyone else in the restaurant at the time and I could've literally gone in and poached my own egg better. Why is it even open? Do yourself a favour, don't come here.
Was not good enough, the service was overall okay, but the food was pretty bad. we ordered spaghetti and prawns, wagyu burger and corn fritters, all were pretty stale and they gave us pennethey ran out of spaghetti at 2.00pm without asking us for replacement. We ordered salt and pepper calamari and they were out of that too. The burger salad was very off too. Burnt onions everywhere in the pasta.
I went there for breakfast with my husband, The food and coffee was really good but the time we waited for our breaky was for like 25minsHope the service can be a bit fasterRecommended dishesBacon Eggs on Sourdough
I ordered a beef sirloin steak medium rare, arrived well done and the beef is not good. Some dishes might be good I hope.Food: 2/5
The male barista that worked in Miranda store, tall of Anglo appearance, balding? would put machine washing chemicals into customer coffees, I was wondering why my coffee always had a toxic chemical taste whenever he did it. He put it in customers who asked for something non standard. He also went to loo a lot and I am sure he did not wash his hand. I wonder what toxic effect chemicals had on my body.
The worst eggs Benedict I’ve had in my life. Firstly, they didn’t even have any poached eggs available, but I was informed so that was alright. But secondly, they served my eggs Benedict without any sauce whatsoever. The bread wasn’t even toasted, which made it hard to cut into. Overall, it wasn’t worth it and I will never come back.
Located on the rooftop dining in Westfield Hurstville, the ambience was the first thing that caught my eye. They were strategically located next to the kids playground that was surrounded with the beautiful greenery. Their decor was also cozy and gave a relaxing atmosphere. They have two main separate seating area and we chose the one near the small garden at the back. Now, let’s talk about the food and the drink. Coffee was great and the latte art was on point. I also enjoyed their homemade lemonade. Fresh and a bit tangy. As for the food, I tried The Shed French Toast, Wagyu Burger and Spaghetti Arrabiata. Every dish was delicious and plated beautifully especially the French Toast, really had a wow factor. The pasta was cooked al dente and had great flavours overall. Portion was also quite generous. I didn’t put high expectation for the burger to be honest, as they are not a burger specialty venue. But it was so good! Simple, clean and bang on. The fries also didn’t disappoint. My favourite dish had to be the French Toast. Totally insta-worthy and fun to eat! Overall, I had an awesome dining experience there.
Really tasty food in a rooftop setting. Every item on the menu has a Mediterranean style to it and with options for breakfast, brunch or lunch there's something for everyone. The sweet potato fritter is a must try!
