Would absolutely recommend staying at this fabulous resort. From the moment we booked right through to our last day, the service was friendly, homely and professional. Rooms were clean and equipped with everything you could need. We were there on a windy weekend but where resort is located, there was always a spot to find some shelter from the wind. Would absolutely recommend a visit. We will definitely be back. Thanks John and Janet. Cheers.
Had a fabulous stay here. Warm welcome at check in. Apartment well equipped and comfortable. Grounds perfectly kept and the pool, although small, was a welcome respite from the hot sun. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Whitsunday Sands is my “go to” accommodation in Bowen. Hosts Janet and John are fantastic and always make me feel welcome. The rooms are great for a quick stop or having a family holiday. The views looking across the water are amazing. Cafe, swimming and restaurant are all a 2 minute walk.
The resort's location is superb, right on the beach at Horseshoe Bay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's a cafe and another pretty beach nearby.Rooms: 4/5
Place is a dump! TV remote dead! Ants and moths in rooms! Expensive and extremely old and dated. A/C broken. Guests walking past room all day! We replaced the batteries in the remote ourselves as reception was shut and it was still dead.
Lovely and relaxed, ideal for celebrations like a wedding with a private beach natural setting big grass area, pool, it's perfect..and could not get a better location near horseshoe bay and bar near the beachRooms: 5/5

Hosts Janet and John were superb! Looked after us as if we were family. The room was well equipped, clean and tastefully refurbished and resort is so private and in the best location. Sunset was amazing to witness from our balcony. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stayRooms: 5/5
