Stayed here for 2 nights whilst being Caught in floods. Good clean rooms bathrooms have been renovated and great service. Hosts couldn’t be more accommodating. 10/10Rooms: 4/5
Staff are friendly and stay was very comfortable, when the restaurant is open the meals are very good. They also have a good breakfast bar. If we come back up this way we'll stay again.Rooms: 5/5
The restaurant was fabulous, the food really well done I had the lamb shanks.Staff at whole venue welcoming and friendly.I loved the suits of armour, weaponry and shields that were displayed around the restaurant. HOWEVER, it has to be said this was by far the smallest shower unit I have EVER seen in any motel, anywhere in the world I have travelled.A larger person would find it difficult to enter let alone shower adequately. The room was a good size, very clean , bed really comfy.Apart from the shower and overall size of the bathroom I enjoyed my stay at The Castle, would definitely dine in the restaurant again…
Marvellous service starting from my call to book the room. Friendly staff, clean fresh room, easy check-in. Able to accommodate large vehicle parking. The restaurant was lovely. Food so tasty.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed over night here and the room was great. Dinner in the restaurant was yummy and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Our first ever stay and we were greeted by stand in/relief managers!! To say perfect is an understatement!! Greeted with all round smiles and welcome hospitality. Room was comfortable and CLEAN! Now the restaurant and bar exceeded 5 stars!! We ordered 3 entrees for the entire meal and were full and the quality was impeccable. Asked for late checkout, and yes!! We would stay here again. Great venue, great people, home away from home!!
Clean and tidy rooms however air conditioner didn't work and wasn't cooling the room let run for 2 hours, told manager, was told because it's a hot day they won't cool that well, told him that's not how air conditioners work, he didn't know what to do about it, I asked to see another room, air conditioner was the same. Manager kept telling us because it's a hot day it won't be that cold. Left and went to another motel with a bigger room and was nice and cool within an hour. Do not stay if you are effected by the heat.
Hi all, just checked into the Castle Motor Lodge. The place is kept very clean, the rooms are comfortable and the people running it have been kind and helpful. Looking forward to trying out their restaurant. Their prices are very reasonable. Thank you for the experience. Ps. If you have kids they have a wonderful pool. Cheers Kane
Older motel with good sized clean rooms. Reception nice and friendly. Good to see a comfy chair was in the room for relaxingRooms: 3/5
The place looks dated. A solid brick finish means noise between rooms does not exist. The rooms are lovely and service is daily and spot on. The restaurant has a fantastic menu and chef.... expect one of the best meals on offer in bowen.
