I can't fault the coffee here, superb flavour, even the decaff. The atmosphere is quite hip and friendly. Just lost a star for slow service. I don't mind when kitchens are slow if there is good communication from the waiting staff, but we did have to go and ask after 40 minutes. Hopefully this was a one off being a Sunday. We'll try again, it would be worth it for the great coffee!
We were heading to Tamworth train station and were looking for somewhere nearby for a good breakfast. We read the reviews we came by and were seated at a table within minutes. We used the app to pay and order which was surprisingly easy. The full english was fantastic and the toasties were super cheesy and tasty! The coffee tasted slightly burnt but otherwise a great !
Came here for the first time today after hearing everyone rave about it and it did not disappoint! Service was fantastic and the coffee/food was amazing! Will definitely return!
Just popped in as I was craving some vegan pancakes, rang ahead and asked for a slightly different combo of toppings, the staff were very accommodating and made the ordering process easy. Their pancakes are so fluffy and flavourful! I'll definitely be back
What a hidden gem! Down from London and love this place ! Drinks were amazing 2-4-1 cocktails the best ! Great staff the sweetest and most helpful
I loved the cosy little quirky rooms with festive background music, I popped in with family and had a lovely meal of festive cheese and mac, staff were lovely, only negative was the wait for our meals but didn't mind too much as it is a lovely little place to visitRecommended dishesVegan Pancakes with Syrup and Berries, Mac and Cheese
Great food, generous portions with plenty choice. A nice and relaxed atmosphere. However, there is a need for service improvement; orders took over 40 mins to arrive with no communication. Whilst everyone is friendly and welcoming I would much appreciate regular and clear communication.

Not made aware of how ordering worked so sat there for quite some time. Took 30 more minutes for drinks to come and then a further 20 minutes for food. Waitress was quite aggressive when re arranging chairs and tables. Tea was lovely and food looked nice too.Food: 4/5
At 2 years young, Tamworth's No. 18 Coffee house is hot off the aero press. I'm happy to say it's excellent. They are open 8am each day, brilliant for early birds like me. They have an extensive breakfast & brunch menu, the freshly prepared croissant was so tempting. Everything is prepared from scratch, at the No. 18 Coffee House premises. Coffee beans are courtesy of the East Midlands massive, 200 degrees coffee. My oat milk flat white was beautifully crafted by the barista. Muchos Gracias. All the staff were warm and courtious. The accommodating, period interior is peppered with merchandise and host of cool interior cues. There is a large courtyard out back, with a mix of benches and high seating. Most of the tables are sheltered under gazebos. There is even outdoor heating to improve comfort, if the weather does turn. I thoroughly recommend heading over to No. 18 Coffee House early to avoid the morning rush, and grab a freshly prepared croissant while they're still hot.
