Lovely quaint warm, wood heated old Church building on our way through. Bravo to them too. They were providing free hot drinks to all the service workers who had been in a d around town dealing with the aftermath of the big, wild storm that had come through the days before we arrived.
I’m slightly disappointed because I normally give five stars. But the well textured coffee was not strong enough, and the temperature was not hot enough. The enjoyable scone was undersized but priced appropriately. Fascinating location inside of old church with ladies quilting; hence the name.
Old Church with quilting supplies and fabulous cafe. Cakes, toasties etc all delicious.nI had a lovely piece of carrot cake and cream topped with a strawberry. In winter they serve hot soup and bread by an open fire
Came to this adorable little cafe after high recommendations from my bnb host. Boy am I glad I took the recommendation.nJanine the owner is an absolutely lovely lady who makes the best scones I've ever tasted.nIf you are into textiles while you are waiting or after you've finished you can look around the assortments of fabrics and threads to buy for your hobby.nI highly suggest coming here :
We were visiting New Norfolk and picked a cafe for lunch. The Quilted Teapot sounded great and had high reviews.nWe decided on the goat curry pie comes with salad. Dressing and relish on the sideas well as a toasted Rubin. Both were delicious. A large pot of lemongrass and ginger tea to complete the order.nThe staff were friendly and the surrounds were pleasant. Quilts on display and for sale. Some women were quilting at the back of the room. Nice fire and comfy chairs if you want to relax with a friend or a beverage.
