A friend has been banging on about how good the Sunday roast is in this place. Popped in randomly today for a feed, super friendly staff despite ordering food a few mins before the kitchen closed. The Parma was top notch, crispy, plentiful and served with real chips and a decent salad. One of the best I’ve had to be fair. Good selection of tap beers too!
This is a must visit venue if you love the Irish, their food and culture. Had the special Beef pie n veggies. Yes, totally enjoyable. On other night they had a group of wonderful musicians. They were very entertaining.
Excellent place for food, drink and catch up with friends. Siobhan looked after our group. We ate pies, seafood chowder, Parma and popcorn cauliflower So yum. Worth the visit. Parking is two hours until 11 but drive to the back road and the hours stop at 6.30.
Great pub, traditional Irish meals and a surprisingly good and well priced wine list, as well as good selections of beers. Food portions were large maybe too large. Great value and good atmosphere. Recommended by our son, who we meet for dinner. Traditional beef and Guinness pie, bangers and mash and a huge Parma!
Five of us stopped by for the Thursday steak deal, it was amazing. Will definitely be back again for more food and drinks and not only on Thursdays!
