Beautiful landscape with sweeping views of the Northern Rivers caldera, that play into a thousand views in different weather, light, and time of day. The surf can get a rolling sweep across the bay for a long ride or come in pretty scalloped waves perfect for beginners. A day on a long board or a sunset surf session will give you special photos and memories. A lookout provides great views and The Pass Cafe is open for breakfast in season. Full amenities here plus limited National Park parking - but a turning circle zone will help you drop off and pick up. Picture postcard Byron magic.
Beautiful spot to swim especially if you have younger children. Lots of opportunity to use a boogie board or surfboard. Nicely protected area so the water tends to be calmer. Parking is $4 per hour but if you’re patient 10 mins waiting you will eventually get a spot.
Beautiful spot to swim, especially surf! Toilets are close by, lovely people. Life guards around aswell. Really recommend coming to the pass!
Generally filled with group of surfers, The Pass is a coastal gem in Byron Bay. It's on the way to the Lighthouse which I highly recomend to walk along.
Gorgeous place and one of my favorite beaches. The views are just stunning from here. Would definitely check out if you’re in the area.
Best beach on the planet and I’ve been to a lot of beaches. Great surf Great for the family Great for kids
Such a great little spot to spend the day! Good relaxed vibe, very clean and good facilities. There’s a cafe on top which does a decent iced latte and iced coffee too.
One of the best beaches in Byron bay
Quiet beach compared with main beach Byron Bay. BBQ areas & tables near beach and at the grass area next to car park. Speaking of car parks, you may have to wait for a spot and it is a paid parking area. Amazing view from Fisherman's lookout.
Great little beach tucked away from the crowds. There's a bit of a wading area as you walk into the water, with the waves breaking quite a way off shore. Good spot for the family or surfing. Just watch out for the ants under the trees and the bush turkeys getting into your bag as you swim!
