Clarkes Beach, Byron Bay The beach in the front of Byron town is Main Beach, east of that is Byron Beach Beach Byron Bay is a must visit for fine-dining, I’ll write a separate post, then further east is Clarkes Beach. We spent time at each location, then walked along the beautiful coastline. To get to Clarkes beach, park in The Pass Parking it’s metered, then walk down to the beach, it is beautiful. If you stay long enough you will see it at high tide and when the tide goes out, it’s a totally different landscape with even more to explore. In the parking area is The Pass Cafe. #ClarkesBeach #ByronBeach #ByronBay
Timeless place , I’ve said it many times but it’s just a beautiful part of the world . Very cruisey lifestyle & the way things should be . The villas at the main accommodation venue are very good indeed.
Great place to surf. Dont leave ur stuff on the sand because those birds will rummage through your things. Their claws are sharp.
Stunning Byron Bay beach!
Great beach with beautiful sand and clear water
Great little beach with a inlet part for small kids seperate to the ocean. Great little high lookout as well to spot turtles or dolphins if your lucky.
Nice wide beach. Beautiful but featureless. There is paid parking, showers, public toilets and cafe near by.
If you aren't a fan of waves this is the beach for you. When the tide starts falling a large pool is left behind. You can laze about in the water here for hours. The water is the perfect temperature. Great for families with small children and babies or for adults, like me, that don't like the surf and waves. It's super floaty too. There's not a lot of shade so don't forget to lather in sunscreen. 99% of parking in Byron is metered $4 an hour but if you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk you can find unmetered parking.
Still the best ...even better without the backpacker's..
Fantastic park right on the beach. Clean and very well maintained facilities. Ideal for all ages.
