Stopped by here for lunch because it was the only place still open on a late Saturday afternoon. Was pleasantly surprised how tasty the food was! We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next morning for coffee and carrot cake. Will definitely stop by next time we pass by Stanwell Park again. Dog friendly too!!
10 out of 5 Excellent Food. Excellent Service. Breakfast, lunch or just an afternoon tea, it’s become my favourite. The burgers melt in your mouth, I like the pulled pork burger. Scone, jam & cream with a pot of leaf tea are delicious for afternoon tea.
With very few food options in the area, this place seemed a popular lunch spot. Nice outdoor seating which is dog friendly, and friendly service. That’s probably it for the pros. The food didn’t meet our expectations. We ordered the coconut beef curry, the Japanese noodle pancakes, and the meatloaf. The rice on the curry dish was dry - in fact the whole dish was dry and tasted like a pre-made dinner pack from the supermarket. I’ve had better curry at food courts. The Japanese noodle pancakes.... to put nicely was far from what you would imagine based on the name of the dish. Perhaps I’m at fault for expecting something not dissimilar to a noodle okonomiyaki pancake. Not sure what about it was Japanese. The noodles were vermicelli rice noodles found typically in Vietnamese cuisine. The dish itself was essentially a salad with 2 “flattened-spring-rolls”. The spiced avo - not sure if that was any more than some mashed up avo what spice? very thinly spread on the pancakes, which added nothing to the dish. I think I may not have been so disappointed if the menu read: “SALAD, with spring roll pancakes and smoked salmon”. The meatloaf was the most half-decent plate on the table, but still baffled that a cafe would charge over $20 for each of these plates! We were left somewhat full but unsatisfied, and ended up grabbing some fish and chips by the Bald Hill Lookout afterwards. Maybe we should’ve gone for their scones instead ‍ people seemed to be enjoying those. It’s a shame that they only serve their breakfast menu until 11.30am.
Located in a not to prominent strip of shops. Their food make up for their isolated position. Food is modern, tasty and good value compare to what you pay in Sydney. If you going down the Sea Cliff Bridge at Stanwell make sure you stop by and give this cafe a try.
Excellent, our server was very friendly and the food came relatively quickly. The chicken sandwich was surprisingly good and the beef brisket was reasonable. Good place to stop by for lunch if you're driving by Stanwell Park.
The hot chocolate was not hot but rather warm, and it wasn't sweet in my opinion. The sourbread dough was a bit burned, but other than that the service, price, and food was great.Food: 4/5
Really nice spot. Good choices available. Staff were very friendly. Stopped here since we were nearby taking in the sights. There's parking available along the street. Also good clean restrooms. It got busy because people were trying to get out of the rain. I would recommend the restaurant.
Bruschetta with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, asparagus and capers is absolute delish and eye pleasing look.
We love the beef brisket roll and sizzling garlic prawns, packed with flavour!
The bagel and the meat loaf is awesome. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is great. We had slice of the hummingbird cake. It's amazing, the cake is well presented and the taste is perfectly balanced. I highly recommend it to be served on its own without cream/ice-cream so you can indulge yourself with the true essence of the cake.
