Unfamiliar with Maitland, we stopped at The Orange Tree cafe. We sat outside under the orange tree and had wraps for lunch. They were delicious. The staff are friendly, it has a relaxing atmosphere, and it was a great lunch stop while we discovered historic Maitland.
Woww !! Early morning delicious brekkie in a serene ambiance. Very professional and welcoming staff especially Emily who served us with her cute smile.
We had a lovely lunch in the sunny, back garden overlooking the Hunter River. The staff were friendly and the food was great. We can’t wait to go back!
1st visit and would definitely go again. Quite busy but the staff weren't flustered. We ate in the back,under the shade of the orange tree and it was so relaxing. Food was good ,had lunch but would like to experience brunch.Food: 4/5
Went there this morning. Asked if we could sit out the back. As we were walking out there. A staff member pushed in front of us. Saying. “I’ll see if there a seat out there”. Waited. “No sorry there no spots left”. So we sat inside. Ordered. Then watch about ten other people walk out the back. And no one came back in. No staff stopped them. Saying. “. Sorry no seats left out side “ We canceled out order. Paid for our drink what we didn’t drink and went else where Never have we both felt so judged in our life Maybe it was our tattoos or something else that didn’t fit their criteria to be seated out the back Lavender cafe staff excellent
First time eating here and I loved how fresh and delicious the meal was. We had the smashed avo and loved it. Prices were pretty fair for the quality of meal and staff were very friendly. Will be returning here for sure. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian meals available.
My taste buds have died and gone to heaven. Highly recommend. If your after a delicious fresh meal. I’ve been searching for a decent place to eat ages and I finally found it. Definitely coming back
A very pleasant place for lunch. The service was very friendly and there is inside and outside dining. We chose to sit outside and look over the levy and river. The meal was simple but very enjoyable. A great spot. They have a resident blue tongue lizard also
