Absolutely amazing Cafe. Great food and the portion provided for the cost was fantastic compared to other cafes in the Maitland area. Table service was an added bonus, as usually you have to order and pay at the counter in most cafes in the area. I'm only sorry I didn't take photos of the food, as I was too excited when it arrived and just started eating. I assure you it was wonderful. This was my first visit to this cafe, but I will definitely be back and will be bringing friends. I only wish I had discovered this cafe years ago. The absolute best in the area in my opinion.
Excellent service thank you Amelia, great food, wonderful atmosphere and reasonable prices.Food: 5/5
I had the French toast and I cannot say enough. It was delicious. The serves are generous and you will not leave hungry. We went for a quiet midweek breakfast in the garden which was beautifully calm and shady. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional.Food: 5/5
Really excellent food and coffee. This was our first visit on a recommendation so we decided to head on out from Newcastle last Sunday. The staff are attentive and very friendly. Cafe has good COVID safe rules in place too. Outdoor courtyard seating is plentiful all surrounded by garden and there’s more inside seating. Definitely recommend the veggie lasagne and big brekkie eggs and bacon. We will be back!
Great food, great place. Wonderful friendly staff. A must to visit. The only suggestion is that they have a nice sign up in the Cafe, so when you do posts like this, you can take a photo of the name! Well we couldn't see a sign....
Used to visit Seraphine frequently and it was always so lovely, after changing owners we still decided to give it a go, after a few disappointing experiences it’s safe to say we won’t be back, the quality of food and coffee have gone downhill drastically, no care seems to go into what is played and while we see some old faces and welcome it, most are new staff and severely lack customer service. With many cafes around the area it surprises me being in the location it is how wrong they are getting it.
Ordered coffees for adults & hot chocolates for children. Asked for the HCs to be served warm, not hot, as they were for small children. Three of the four were perfect but the fourth one was so hot that I burnt myself when I picked the cup up to check the temperature. I took a sip & got an actual blister on my lip from the heat. When I approached the counter to let them know what happened the girl stared at me blankly. I asked for cold milk to cool it down & an extra cup to pour some off the top to make room for the cold milk. Another blank stare. I am unsure if it was her first day or if someone switched her off at the wall. Eventually I managed to make her understand what I needed & was provided with same after about 10 minutes of waiting, by which time the HC was STILL far too hot to drink. This is not the first disappointing visit we have had here but it will certainly be the last. I am tired of giving them more chances than they are worth for overpriced food & drinks & terrible service. The location is lovely, but we will be taking our post gallery business elsewhere going forward. There is far too much competition in Maitland now for them to be this bad & do absolutely nothing about it.
Parking can be tricky at the gallery, but definitely worth it. Food is amazing and service exceptional! Good idea to book at table as it can be very busy!Food: 5/5
Had a great breakfast with friends today . Food was great, service was very friendly and we had the option of table service or ordering at the counter . We arrived at 9:30 and left at 12 and were not felt pressured to leave, which I very much appreciated, allowing us a wonderful catchup Decore is very appealing and there are roomy inside and outside options to sit
Found this Cafe by accident inside the Arts centre High St Maitland NSW ….. very nice indeed with generous delicious food choices. Food & service rates really well in my opinion but the coffee needs a bit of work if your fussy with your brews like us However well worth a trip in and around this heritage town & surrounding areas you will love it
