The Narrows Landing is situated on a neighbouring site to the original old homestead that was used in the 1800s as accommodation for those traveling the Waikato River by riverboat.

These days we offer the same welcoming and relaxing environment but with 21st century style and opulence.

Built in 1996, The Narrows Landing was a for-runner in sustainable builds, using recycled and natural materials. The interior is a seamless blend of rustic chic, classic style and tasteful design.

The environment promotes an ambience that allows you to absorb the stunning songs of the many Tui that live in the area.

I would give this place a 0 if I could. Husband and I booked 1 night. We went out and then got back in quite late and the main door was LOCKED. I had to stand on a chair and put my arm in through their high windows to unlock the doors. Paying over $100 and no way to get in. What's worse is that they did not accept my review..why hide it? It's the truth. It truly sucked..

First time we were invited for some food it was very nice but they should not forget the coach drivers because they are getting there clients home safely

Stayed here on a business trip. Nice hotel and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable but would be good to have a fridge /water etc as additional room facilities. The bar and restaurant were closed while I was there so had to head back into Hamilton to get food. They also didn't put breakfast out on time one morning which was frustrating.
