Only one street back from the busy Oxford St, the London continues to be one of the pubs in Paddington. Great food, including pizzas, steaks and burgers.. wine now on tap as a sustainable option instead of waste of glass, and also expect crowds in for major sporting events with plenty of TVs situated around the venue.
Nice pub cold beer pizzas are good, the nachos were a bit ordinary but enjoyable.
I like the London Hotel which is one of the glorious Paddington venues which jumps out and tasted the best food that I've had in the area. I can't recommend this place enough as a place to power up before having a shop down that way
Friendly staff and very accommodating. We changed tables a few times due noise from tv and no issues. Had the Potato pizza and salt pepper prawns. Both yummy with a beer chaser was great. Will be back.
It was so loud - and the beers were very pricey at $13.50 for a pint, and very limited range. You can't move in the front bar and you can't hear in the back! Needs a revamp, in my humble.
Nice place for a drink and feed. Lunch specials are particularly enjoyable. Must try the Potato & Rosemary Pizza
