Fantastic food and good portions. Particularly recommend the balsamic beeteoot salad with salt and pepper squid added, the juicy burger, fish n chips and the nachos. Didn't need to book a table on a Sunday but the place was pretty full at 12:30 so quite lucky to get a table.
Ordered the seafood platter, plenty for the two of us. Customer service was great even while they were pretty packed out. Barely a wait on the food & it was delicious
Good spot to have a pub meal in Port Adelaide. Menu had all the pub staples, schnitzel etc. The food was standard pub flavour. The servings were good.The wine list had a couple of good brands. It was busy but we got a table straightaway. The staff were efficient but not overly friendly. The decor was neat.
Just enjoyed the vegetarian Haloumi burger which was 10/10. Full of flavour it was a lot nicer than I anticipated and it exceed any expectation I could have had. The chips were cooked to perfection really crispy. Hubby enjoyed the chicken parmigiana his go to pub meal giving it a solid 8/10. Staff were really friendly and welcoming! It was worth the 40 minute drive to get here
I had lunch with mum here today. Couldn't fault a thing. My baked salmon with Asian salad - Skin crispy, fish cooked perfectly, salad well dressed and fresh, great portion and great price. Mum's fish and prawns with chips and salad - she ate THE LOT does not happen often The lovely staff were super friendly and attentive and even though a little thing it's always the little things - when they accidentally made a lemon, lime and bitters in a pint glass when we asked for a schooner - they only charged us for the schooner price!! Thanks all - we had a lovely time
Came for lunch. Have been before and enjoyed the experience. My seafood plate was great however my friends salad meal was drowning in oil. She mopped up some resulting in a very wet napkin. There was still about 50 mls of oil in the bowl. It was inedible. Sent back. Second offering was better but still way too much oil. No one came to take our dessert order. Had to go inside to order. Staff appeared run off their feet. Saw a few other meals being returned. Maybe just an off day for the cook.
Definitely worth a look and try out! Staggering distance back to Quest. Coopers pale ale, half kilo wings Monday, yum and recommended. Tuesday $15 schnitzel with mushroom sauce chips and salad, just look at the photo! Great friendly staff and atmosphere. Do it!
Our experience was great from the service to the food and drinks. We were looked after very well and I couldn't fault anything at all. I thoroughly enjoyed my barramundi salad. The skin was nice and crunchy. I asked for a mocktail and it was really nice. My friends schnitzel and gravy looked super delicious. Thanks again for accommodating us for a late dinner catch up. We really appreciated it. Will come again.
Nice $10 lunch meal, good proportion and tasty flavour.
Great selection of meals. We had chef fish special & shared the squid and duck spring rolls. Good drinks list avail. Lots of coleslaw/bean sprout salad maybe add green leaves too fast service but please waitress... don't call everyone love, it's patronising & front bar talk
