We were pleasantly impressed with the quality and size of the food. Monday to Thursday they offer a cheaper menu. We went out as a big group and 3 of us ordered a small serve and I could finish all of the chips. Big size fish and chips, I had a taste of hubby's Salmon and it was delicious and cooked to perfection with a crisp skin . We will definitely be back next time we are in Tassie.
Very much enjoyed our lunch here. The kids play area is the attraction and allows for the little one to run around in a safe indoor area. There are also some arcade styles games to play, so bring gold coins. There is a dedicated kids menu along with catering for vegetarian and other dietary requirements. Kids eat free Monday-Thursday.
Chips were delivered cold Chicken parmigiana was taken off plate and fresh chips put under the parmigiana then brought back out one of the 1of the Lamb shanks wasn't cooked through chicken burger was still half raw then to top that off dessert was sticky date pudding was burnt told the manager won't be back at light house hotel again in Ulverstone. They really need a new chef
Service was incredibly slow and the food was really expensive and not great. My husband got the mixed grill, it was small and he said the steak was inedible. I got the rump which was more gristle than meat. We generally eat at the Forth Pub and will stick to it in the future.
Centrally located the heart of the town of Ulverstone. Diverse bistro meals offered and generous in serving size. Very quiet after 9pm.
