I booked this for family coming to stay at Christmas - turned out to be a great idea! Absolutely charming, rooms are comfortable and spotless, bathrooms really well done. Food and drink selection is excellent.nBest of all is the access to huge wrap around balcony via the residents lounge!! Highly recommended.

I had a great time at the Kyneton Hotel.nThe staff were friendly and helpful. I had the corner room which was really big and I could walk out onto the balcony and watched the sunset with a beer. It might sound weird but the bathrooms, toilets and showers were amazing. So clean, really cool designs and spacious. You can really see the effort and money they are putting in to the establishment for their guests. The food was great in the restaurant and I will highly recommend this place to my friends and family. Also the location is really central and close walking distance to anywhere in town. I will definitely be staying there again in the future. Thanks

The perfect place to stay if you're in the area for an event. Easy to find right in town, clean, friendly, comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities were modern and clean and I never once bumped into another guest so felt like my own private bathroom.nAs an added note, the owners showed such compassion and kindness when I received some very sad news. They were so human and beautiful and went out of their way to take care of me.nThank you guys!nHighly recommend!

Very warmly welcome into the hotel which was great start to our experience. Lunch menu was more than adequate with a great selection. Food was outstanding with a couple of cold bevies to go with it. Would recommend to anyone not too far from Melbourne

I recently spent 2 nights at The Kyneton Hotel.  I was particularly impressed with the friendly and helpful staff.  Their dinner menu is quite extensive and I found the Lamb Ragu delicious.  Even though the Hotel is quite old, the renovated bathrooms were a very pleasant surprise.  Well done!  I would have no hesitation in recommending The Kyneton Hotel.
