Table of 8. Swift friendly service. Heaps of gluten free options if that’s a thing for you. I was so happy to have a gluten free burger that actually included a burger bun. Wine by the bottle is not cheap but the quality of the wine was decent. 9 degrees outside but toasty warm inside with the fire going. Great overall experience. Everybody at the table enjoyed their meals. Although I’m told the Yorkshire pudding wasn’t very good. Lovely staff.
From the moment we entered the pub, we were greeted with a smile. We sat in the front lounge bar and the staff were wonderful. Beth was an absolute pleasure, personable, efficient and very polite.nnThe calamari was the best I’ve had for years and the barramundi was crispy skinned and brilliant.nnAnd if you’re dining there, you must have the hand cut chips, delicious!nnWell done Tim and team. We look forward to our next meal at The Albion!
Had a wonderful Brunch at the Albion, with their steak special for lunch, the delicious calamari as a starter and a Guinness beer on tap to top it off. Very friendly staff and top notch service. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Kyneton.
For the love of all that is holy, toast your burger buns. Poor effort.nIt's not news that $25 doesn't go as far as it used to, that's for sure. However the $25 cheeseburger doesn't go anywhere. From the tiny patty to the IGA bun, this burger was mediocre. My wife actually asked if I got the kids meal as this thing was the size of my palm. A little salt and pepper wouldn't hurt either.nn5 beers on tap, all pretty average. The staff should have had a couple of coffees to liven up before they started their shifts.nBetter places in Kyneton to spend your money.
