Selected venue as dog friendly beer garden and some vegetarian options on menu a little different then standard pub grub. Staff were lovely and efficient at their job during a fairly busy Sunday. Inside pub was warm and welcoming the beer garden alas was a little lacking and seemed token. No love there but functional and dog was catered too with kindness. The meal was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed a few entrees and sides to allow for a near by bakery visit. Would return but the pub could consider beer garden upgrade esp with summer coming.
Stopped in for a vegetarian lunch today. To hungry to think of taking a picture before I started eating. Cauliflower steak - This was really such a delightful combination of flavours! Amazing. So delicious. I'll be back here again for sure.
Sheer luck! This was not on our list but it looked so interesting, that we went in. We are so glad we did. We were wanting dinner and ordered a chicken parmi and a pork schnitzel with capers. They were stunning. Absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be back.
Came here with our family, unassuming from the outside but once you enter you’re greeted by friendly staff and a decent menu and wine list, with local wines available.nnIts table serve which is great, all the servers were very friendly and helpful.nnThe food was excellent, one of the nicest steaks I’ve had in a long time. It was pricey but the flavour and the way it was cooked to perfection made it worthwhile.nnProbably only thing could be improved was the vegetarian menu was quite average and plain. Your typical risotto, gnocchi and cauliflower steak.nnThe other thing I would say that was excellent as the pub is more of an eatery/restaurant which was great for our family with kids.nnThanks for a great night! We will be back!
Came here couple of weeks ago with friend, the pub was great and the food was amazing for the price. I had the Chicken Parmigiana salad and chips and it was yum. Nice little pub for all occasions. I would definitely come here again. A busy little pub aswell and maybe book ahead if you do come.
