My first dining experience with showing Proof of COVID Vaccine and Photo ID. Staff made a special effort to move patrons through quickly and smoothly. Arm tags were used to ensure all patrons had entered the venue with ID. As usual, the meals were delicious and delivered to the table quite quickly. Highly recommend dining at the Kingsley Tavern. If you enjoy large sized meals, you will be very satisfied! This was the biggest steak sandwich I have ever had. The steak was tender and the other fillings were full of flavour.
Very happy with our first visit. We arrived just before 2pm so the pub was very quiet. Had a very nice cider and an interesting Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita. The "Toad in the Hole was delicious and very filling, with seriously the best onion rings I've had in years. The missus' Prawn Linguine was made with good quality fresh prawns and she cleaned the plate which is always a good indication of the quality.
The place had a friendly warm vibe. The decor was impressive and inviting. We ordered 2 of their Sunday Roast and a kids sirloin steak. The beef was a little overcooked but tasted ok after I drowned it in gravy. The yorkshire pudding was light and delicious. The kids steak was quite a good size and the chips were quite tasty. Overall a pleasant lunch.
Meals were all good sizes and well priced. They were flavoured well and had great taste. No table service unfortunately. Parking is good all around the building and is free. Ample ACROD parking right near one of the entrance. Good access for mobility impaired.
The food here at the Kingsley tavern is phenomenal. From the fillet steak to the works burger.. could not fault it. Then came the profiteroles…omfg. To die for. I have to rate this place near the top of my pub eatery’s. Well done guys.
We visited on the 25th of June, 2022. Admittedly, we hand't booked so weren't expecting to get a table, but a place was quickly made four our group of three. It was busy, so we expected a bit of a wait - no dramas. After approximatley 45 minutes - and observing other patrons who had arrived after enjoying their meals - we decided to see what the delay was; it turns our our order was lost. The wait-staff gave assurances that our meals would be out promptly - which they were; we were served within ten minutes. Sadly, my cauliflower tacos were cold and inedible. My partner's salad was served with a hair/eyelash, which was kinda gross. My partner raised these issues with the duty manager, who offered a voucher to return again, but we declined. I informed the duty manager that I would submit a review highlighting some of the issues we experienced, and we were not happy with the out come - I was not expecting him to interrupt me at one point and state, 'I'm not finished talking..." I have never experienced this before as a customer. In the end we were given a cash refund. This was an unfortunate exprience, as we have dined here before and found that the food, atmosphere and service has been very good. I concede that it was busy - the staff were visibly stressed, and the manager was very much under-the-pump. Our experience was less than ideal.
Wonderful service and the best steak in Perth. Good value meals and huge portions. Save yourself for dessert though, they're delicious.
Delicious food, great service. Very busy place which is a good sign. We had the steak sanga, toasted beef cheek ravioli, hamburger and garlic bread. Chips were the best we’ve had in a while too.
Well presented. Polite staff. Great selection of drinks and our food choices were fabulous!
Such a high class pub meal ! The barramundi was cooked to perfection and pared with some delicious creative sizes of tamarillo and white bean puree. The pork belly also looked delicious! I wish taverns here in Victoria were this good!
