Our rooms where very clean and you smell the freshness as soon as you opened the door. Our room was just what we needed for 4-5people. Has dining options down stairs and it was very busy and can get a little noisy whilst dining. We were really impressed with this place very central to everything. Coming back again next year.
We had 3 entrees between us & all 3 were great. We were served by Seb & he was very professional & friendly. Happy to explain how they make the bread. The bar staff were very friendly also. Overall a great dining experience.
Came for lunch and the service was friendly. Plenty of space inside for large groups. No main meal vegetarian options though - I had a side of burrata on toast and sweet potato fries pricey at $ 12 with no aioli or anything which were delicious, just not what I was hoping for.
Great spot in the middle of town. Check-in was fine with friendly reception and good information provided. The rooms are very basic, and a bit outdated and tired but the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The bar downstairs was great with a good crowd and a fun vibe.
Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner.nnThe bistro has a beautiful atmosphere and aesthetic, with warm lighting and tasteful decor. It’s fresh and modern, while simultaneously paying homage to the art deco era it was established in.nnBar staff are super friendly and attentive. Special mention to Matthew, who looked after us both nights, and was a genuine legend. Ask him to make you an Amaretto sour.nnThe pizza is insanely good, for those who like a classic woodfire pizza with leopard spotting. I’d drive back from Sydney just to get another one.nnOur room was close to $170 per night, and while it was fairly nice, the windows can’t be opened, and our bathroom fan didn’t work, so the roof and walls were dripping wet all night after we showered. There is also no shower door or curtain, so the water goes everywhere. We were told to keep the bathroom door shut whilst showering also, to prevent the sensitive smoke alarms from being activated. Strong smell of smoke when you walk into the room as well. A tad disappointing given the price, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.
