I wasn't told upon booking that Vax proof is required. I'm not fully vaxinated. My husband is. This meant, I had taken time off work, had my children babysat for an appointment I could ultimately not attend. The centre was happy to take my money for booking the apt without pre screening me. Upon opening the door to my husband and myself, the clinician said "come in" from behind the door. We had to turn around to see that she was talking to us. she didn't introduce herself or welcome us. Even after sitting on the lounge and filling in the initial forms, she was silent and still did not introduce herself. I sat in the room with the clinician and could hear the session/conversation from the next room. Which felt like I was intruding on someone else's privacy. The waiting area had overly loud and unpleasant music definitely not calming or therapeutic I assume this was to drown out the sounds, but it was ultimately just another distraction When I called to advise the reception of what occurred and request my reimbursement there was no one who had apologised or took responsibility for the error. It can take alot of planning for two parents to attend therapy sessions. I was very disappointed by my experience. Would not recommend.
I have only had great experiences at The Hart Centre. I would strongly recommend The Hart Centre for anyone in need for relationship counselling.
