I was visiting Adelaide and of all the coffees cappuccinos I tasted so far, this is the best. Love the texture of the cappuccinos' microfoam and the strong espresso served in the right proportions. They do over do the amount of chocolate dustings, but I am not complain. Keep it up! I visited late in the afternoon so there wasn't a crowd. They do sell a wide variety of coffee beans and coffee making instruments.
Great coffee. This coffee shop uses Fleurieu milk, which is fabulous. The extra hot wasn't really that hot, but it was still great coffee with great service.
The awesome thing about this shop is they don’t forget the tea drinkers! The staff are really friendly, coffee for sit in customers comes in the cutest cups, and overall their cups and accessories for both tea and coffee lovers is probably the best in the market.
They do not even deserve one star. Very bad experience. Customer service is non existent. Will NEVER put myself in such a hateful environment. Best coffee is at the bean bar at central market. Without prejudice Only honesty Looking at all your reviews reiterates my first review. So you enjoy drama rather than smiling and making a good cup of coffee. You have threatened me in your reply and this is unacceptable and disgusting behaviour towards a lost customer as a result. Its not difficult to believe that many people have written similar complaints. You are unprofessional and do not have any idea how to treat customers who keep your business running. I have every right to write a review about my experience with The Grind. Bean bar guys! That's the place to go and you will receive respect and a great coffee! Again...without prejudice, only honesty.
After waiting to be served, I asked about what you be a good light roasted coffee bean to be used in my plunger answer ‘I hate it when people ask me questions about this’. Sorry hate what? Me asking for advice and you doing your job. Left utterly dissatisfied and wondering why she hates her job. Hi Silivo, I don’t need any coffee or anything like that. Thanks for responding. I was just taken aback is all. Thanks Campbell
Average coffee— a bit rough and lacks that mellow refinement. The lady serving is rude— interrupts you whilst you are on the phone and then tells you off for speaking on the phone and not talking to her!! Maybe give the other places in the area a try. EDiT : I notice a reply from the owner so just to clarify some aspects of the review. 1. The comment has to do BOTH with the quality of product and with the service for which BOTH were lacking. 2. After being kept waiting for a significant period of time I was able to place the order. Whilst the coffee was made I recieved a phone call I could not avoid. The barrista then insisted on payment whilst I was on the call and told me off for being rude for not hanging up the phone to tap the card on the EFTPOS machine. 3. I wholeheartedly agree that respect should be shown to retail staff AND customers alike. 4. It may be appropriate for the proprietor to review this and other ratings and consider whether this represents a trend or an outlying event.
My partner and I went purchased coffees from this cafe Monday morning. My partner asked for Almond milk as we are both lactose intolerant. The young guy who served us was so busy chatting to another customer but we didn't think much of it. We paid for our drinks and then left when we realised he had used full cream milk. We took them back and let him know and he stood with his hands on his hips and said "what do you want me to do about it? You asked for milk". He was so rude. We were both a little shocked at how rude he was. Eventually he said he would make them again however he was still so busy talking about himself to another customer that I'm not surprised he got it wrong the first time. We won't be visiting again.
I love getting my regular 250g supa crema beans to use at work! Absolutely love their coffee. Can’t wait to see the new shop upgrade!!!
A great place, friendly staff with a great knowledge and love of coffee. Good for beans whole or ground to your preference. Also they make a good cup their too. Good range of coffee utensils and tea as well.
Very rude person / owner. Looking at purchasing a coffee machine and trying to decide which one to buy, He said to me that I had wasted his time, spat the dummy and then told me to “f” off more than once. Effectively he verbally abused me. Very poor behaviour indeed and without hesitation.
