Our practice specialises in the body's "moving parts" system, the musculo-skeletal system. The expert physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and massage therapists at our practice can help maintain your musculoskeletal health and assist you with quick recovery from injury, pain or disability. We utilise effective, hands on treatment techniques in the privacy of your own treatment room.

My partner has been experiencing back pain post army so I called to enquire and gather some information for him and possibly make an appointment, I asked if the receptionist Anita could tell me a bit about the clinic and Rick so I pass this information on to my partner but was told abruptly "Not really, everything is on the website".  I am a Medical Secretary myself and have never had such a cold response, it shocked me.  This was the first clinic I reached out to and while I am sure Rick and the rest of the team are great the coldness from the receptionist has put me off straight away.  I normally don't write reviews like this but for someone reaching out for information and help this is not a nice reaction to be met with.

Rick has been 'fixing' my ageing body for over 15 years, explaining likely causes for my injuries, and prescribing appropriate stretches and exercises. I have always felt an improvement after a session. Excellent staff and great service.  Updated 16/12/22 - After injuring my back, i could not stand up - the back spasms were so bad, i would fall to my knees. With a holiday booked only 4 days out, i had almost come to terms with not being able to go. Rick and the front desk staff found 3 consecutive days for physio. With a dose of serious anti-inflammatory tablets and Rick's magic i was able to shuffle off on my holiday. Cannot thank Rick enough to get me upright and moving again.

I have been visiting Rick and his team at Glen back Care for over 10 years. They have helped improve and maintain my back strength & related issues  over a long period, and really make a difference when I am preparing for a specific physical challenges to get me through in good shape. I make sure I have regular "maintenance" sessions to keep my body functioning at a consistent level and pain free. Rick is great at identifying underlying issues and setting a treatment plan, both with them and also for me at home, to get back on track as quickly as possible.

Rick Southen and his team are honest, professional, reliable and approachable. They are fantastic at diagnosing a problems, in providing the right treatment and treatment plan, so that patients can continue their recovery at home. Rick in particular is a very experienced, caring and intuitive physiotherapist who always puts his patients first. He is excellent at resolving complex and chronic problems and ensuring his patients understand their condition and treatment. They are the best physiotherapy clinic I have attended.

I am 26 years old and I have been going to Rick for physiotherapy for about 6 months after I was diagnosed with hip burstitis due to sitting for long prolonged periods of time for work purposes. Rick provided me with differing treatments and exercises even had a great app which provides demonstrations of exercises that you can do at home. It is because of his treatment that I have now regained my strength on my hip muscles and have minimal pain. If you want an expert amazing physiotherapist that will assist you with burstitis instead of getting the steroid injections you should definitely go to Rick at the Glen Back care!

I have been attended in the centre since last year due to some minor back and postural issues. In addition to my GP referral, the location of the centre and its specious off-street car park were so convenient to me that I decided to come to this centre at the first sight. Later I confronted with a friendly receptionist, amazing time management, well equipped centre regardless of its limited space,  as well as Physiotherapist Mark's respectful and approachable manner that kept me there. My appointments afterwards proved me Mark Ghaly's professional approach to my health issues. His informative treatment sessions were filled with client's education regarding their current health issues, happily transferring his knowledge and information in understanding words to the clients so as to assist them with figuring out their own health issues, also continuity of care and treatment in various areas such as home and gym. Overall, I highly recommend this centre to my family and friends.

Never had a bad experience in this clinic. All the doctors I have seen so far - from physiotherapist, chiropractor, osteopath, and dietitian - everyone has been very professional and helpful. The receptionists are always nice too and the clinic is very well kept. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I’ve been a client at The Glen Back Care & Sports Therapy for many years now and couldn’t recommend it more highly! The staff are wonderful and always go above and beyond to ensure I have the best possible experience at the clinic. For the past few years I’ve been seeing Vanissa who has treated me for plantar fasciitis as well as general maintenance. The treatment I receive is high quality and I always feel supported in my recovery. I highly recommend The Glen Back Care & Sports Therapy.

I have attended this clinic for a number of years. Mostly I have seen Rick Southen. His physio treatment is amazing. He is the only physio I have been to, who actually does hands on work to fix the problems instead of just talking and asking me to do exercises. Recently I had an arm injury and he was able to clearly explain the ultrasound report and give me the appropriate treatment. I would highly recommend Rick to anyone who needs physio.
