This larger than life vivid sculpture has its merits - the info board is an interesting read. Right next to Swan Hill Train station on the major thoroughfare highway that cuts through Swan Hill.nA selfie opp to stretch your legs & is also within a stone's throw from Aldi & Cafes - so your convenient stop to get provisions & re-charge. Not near the Murray River where the original & not so colourful original can be baited but just a short walk from Visitor's Centre too. Be nice if the grain Silos behind train station & others dotted around could be part of the Silo Art trail to enhance this regional city which lacks heritage buildings & vibes that Echuca has.
The Big Murray Cod is located at the park near Swanhill Railway Station. Plenty of parking. You can't miss it as its so big and just love the colors.
Nothing too special, but was interesting to see nonetheless. It's essentially a big fish statue, that you can see from the nearby road or adjacent car park. Worth ticking off the list whilst in the area, not not worth going out of your way to visit.
In Swan hill, this attraction is obviously a must see. Located right outside the swan hill train station with the size of 11 meters long & 6 meters wide, you just can't miss this Giant fish! There's no fees involved and you may take as many pictures as you wish. Plenty of parking is available nearby, it can be packed though during school holidays or long weekends etc. Certainly recommend.
Located in a park with access to toilet. Plenty of parking and with EV fast charging station. Realistic giant cod with detailed knowledge shown in the display booth behind.
