Was there this morning because I thought a Cake Shop would sell Cakes (!). It's my son's birthday. The old man told me that he could ask the (Australian) baker if he could do that and if so I could get either a Black Forrest or an Austrian Sachertorte (chocolate) and it would cost $ 60.00!!!! I said that I was under the impression that it was a German Cake Shop whereas he said that everything in Hahndorf is made for Asian tourists and they are not into cakes that much. I could have had a Bee Sting for $ 18.00. So I left and got a fantastic Cheesecake elsewhere!

Our meals were so staggered that 3 of us had to wait 30 minutes after the first 2 had already finished. The meals were below ordinary. 5 people $78, is a reasonable price but for better meal quality and timelines of cooking, the pub 1 minute up the road is better!
