Everyone at our table of five loved their courses and our charming host was attentive and knowledgeable about the meal and wine. Attention to detail noted at table and in the restroom. Beautifully prepared plates were a feast for the eyes and mouth. Very generous meal too. Well done. Compliments to all.

This is a restaurant that sets standards well beyond NZ's shores. Any meal on any day here will be memorable. More food imagination than you might ever encounter. Simon Wright is an internationally significant chef. There's so much here that's unique, special and of exceptional quality.

We were a group of 9 and were in the cellar room which was fun. Food, service, atmosphere all fantastic. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. It's pricey but worth it. The outside courtyard with open fire looking very inviting but we didn't have time this visit.

From start to finish you can see why this is one of Auckland's top restaurants. Unassuming from the outside but full of a quiet sophistication inside, this is a place that works hard to stay at the top of the game. The food was exquisite, the wine pairings are fantastic and the service is top notch. We went for an anniversary and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone that will listen. The six course tasting menu is definitely at the top of our list, but it actually felt more like 10 courses once you have all the extra snacks and treats the kitchen throws at you. If you're in any doubt, just go. Pay the money, have your mind blown, rinse, and repeat.

Still one of Auckland's best restaurants. Outstanding food. The tasting menu with wine match is a good choice. Service good but became a little slow towards the end of the meal.
