Amazing quality food. Comfort food is outrageously good and served with great service. Had a delicious meal while sheltering from the rains, highly recommend stopping in for lunch.

Questionable food hygiene The man who served me had tongs but used his bare hands half the time. What's more is that he didn't just touch my food but was also using his bare hands as he sorted through all the wraps on display. These wraps did not have any parchment around them. They were just sitting directly on the plate as he sorted through them. That said, my wrap tasted fine and I didn't get food poisoning in this instance.

These people are classic Melbourne. So much of what makes Melbourne the most liveable city in Australia. I had endured a bad experience at the place across the road from them outside the hospital, and came in grumpy and whinging about it. I had needed to freshen up for a job interview, and they'd essentially lied to me about having a bathroom when they took my order - with minutes to go before my interview. When I complained politely but directly, they called building security on me! What?!. At Flavour, the lady behind the counter immediately saw my distress and escorted me to the bathroom in their building straight away. They quickly whipped up the most delicious coffee. The place is roomy and airy, with outdoor dining avab in a lovely courtyard. I came back after the interview for a celebratory coffee and meal. Very affordable and the most tender chicken! By now the boss was there and classic Melbourne: friendly, helpful, and chats with you like you're one of the family. If I get that job which is pretty well paid, actually! I will be coming here often. Unlike the other rude, dishonest people. Thank you guys - you made me feel so much better and probably helped get me the job!

I have been here multiple times. There are is a vast range of quick bites and meals to eat. It has the boutique type food but also the corner fish and chip style food as well. I just had a kebab and it was tasty. It has nice coffee and it can cater for anyone's needs. Highly recommend.

If you have any allergies 100% avoid. I asked for gluten free toast on my order and was severed it on normal white bread. I didn't notice as I was busy talking until a minute later another staff member bought out a plate with the gluten free toast. If this was a serious allergy my food was already contaminated and could have been a very serious issue. Food quality is also wildly inconsistent and the staff never seem to know what's going on or what they should be doing. If you show up within an hour or two of close don't expect them to cook you anything fresh.

Coffee was very very good. I didn't have the food. But the experience was pleasant and efficient which is exactly what I needed

I wanted to like it, but unfortunately not that great. There's a wide selection but wasn't that great, I got rice which was super dry and just not that great. That said, the people are friendly and the place has a good atmosphere.

Absolutely delicious coffee. Their cooking is also to die for. Love this place, great to go to before a long day on the job. Staff is always happy to have a chat and have a joke, really nice people who really know how to serve a coffee and feed

I go here pretty consistently 1 Day a week at the same time due to a work break but find the system of whether to pay first, what to collect coffee, have it bought out to you, or get called over to collect food is never consistent and staff are rude and abrupt when you inevitably do the wrong thing. I even tried keeping a note on my phone to remind me of what the system is from week to week in order to try and avoid their gruffness but it didn’t work out because their system appears to change from week to week. It’d be fine if they weren’t self righteous about it. Enjoy the food but tune out to the staffs attitudes

We didnt like the food we paid so we tried just walking out. The owner screamed at us asking why we didn't like his food and what was wrong with our taste buds. It was quite a scene and we were v uncomfortable. We didn't need this while our father is currently in the ICU. We may have just got a bad batch of food but the way we were treated was appalling.
