Stayed over last weekend as me and mate were going to a wedding nearby. It was great value, the bedroom was very clean and comfortable as was the bar. Great selection of beers. Staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful in organising cab. Highly recommend it.Rooms: 5/5
The accommodation is woeful.... appallingly bad...... we had to place cups under the wheels to stop the beds rolling around the room, a small tv that most channels don't work, on top of a plastic bucketRooms: 1/5
A very enjoyable 3 days spent here, right in the main street of Laidley. The Staff were amazing. Two men drinking a schooner each offered to helped carry my luggage from the car to the Stairs. Then Staff carried my bags up the stairs to my room. I did appreciate the kindness of the Public & Staff. I am of the older generation. The room had Aircon for warmth, T.V. sink, fridge & wardrobe. Also available in another area was a microwave stove, electric jug & toaster available for use. All for $50.00 per night. Thank You!

Always a pleasure visiting the Exchange Hotel here in Laidley as all the staff make you feel welcome to make your stay enjoyable. As an addition, if you feel like a meal at any time, the kitchen always provides a variety of great meals served promptly and extremely delicious. I am proud to recommend the ' Exchange Hotel ' to anyone that may be strangers to our beautiful Lockyer Valley . . . . . . . . . . .
Love this old fabulous pub. Don't change. Great meals. Well priced. Also staff are excellent.
Food was ok and cheap but that's the only good point about this pub. Took longer to get a beer than to cook the meal, even though there were only 3-4 people in the bar! Publican wandering around grumping loudly about something. Bar stank of stale smoke. Won't be back.
