This place has an old-timey feel to it that is quite charming.nThe staff are really friendly and are very good at directing large crowds.nI went and saw one of my favourite bands and I really appreciate the fact that this theatre wasn't massive - even up the back we had good tickets but you get what I mean you still had a really good view of the stage.
This is a lovely little theater in Sydney. Interesting area of Sydney, too. I'm told more like a college area, and with some very good restaurants.nnAnyway, a friend and I traveled to Sydney specifically to see Kim Wilde perform. The theater itself was clean and well taken care of. Acoustics were very good, and my hearing wasn't blown at the end of the night.nnUnfortunately, this was 90% standing room only. The few seats they had were either a single row on the second floor, or a couple of rows far in the back. Standing for a concert these days is not the easiest thing to do, and the theater is big enough that I wish they would have seats.nnI also feel sorry for the folks cleaning the place at the end of the night. I've never seen a floor area that covered in cans and plastic cups.
Went to a gig here at the start of the year. Relatively large theatre with sleek styling and great sound quality. The bold red, blue lighting was a highlight. Food and drinks were fine and the bar area was pleasant. Staff around were helpful. All of this made for a memorable 4.6/5 experience.
Magnificent old world charm. Attended TAFE NSW Sydney Wearable Art Gala. Some prodigious talent on show. The students involved presented some stunning examples of creative masterpieces.
Shocking !!! The sound quality was appalling and distorted …WAY TOO LOUD !!! Not to mention the lighting shining and flashing from the stage at the audience …went to see the Saints last night, and Sunnyboys last year, same issue. The venue facilities were fine
