This place has an old-timey feel to it that is quite charming.nThe staff are really friendly and are very good at directing large crowds.nI went and saw one of my favourite bands and I really appreciate the fact that this theatre wasn't massive - even up the back we had good tickets but you get what I mean you still had a really good view of the stage.

This is a lovely little theater in Sydney. Interesting area of Sydney, too. I'm told more like a college area, and with some very good restaurants.nnAnyway, a friend and I traveled to Sydney specifically to see Kim Wilde perform. The theater itself was clean and well taken care of. Acoustics were very good, and my hearing wasn't blown at the end of the night.nnUnfortunately, this was 90% standing room only. The few seats they had were either a single row on the second floor, or a couple of rows far in the back. Standing for a concert these days is not the easiest thing to do, and the theater is big enough that I wish they would have seats.nnI also feel sorry for the folks cleaning the place at the end of the night. I've never seen a floor area that covered in cans and plastic cups.

Saw still woozy here last night and was a very enjoyable concert experience. The queue for the venue moved quickly getting in and the venue was full but not overcrowded. The slanted floor meant that even though we were late arriving at the concert we still had a great view of the stage and the acoustics were brilliant. Afterwards it was very easy to get home due to the great transport links in Newtown

Intimate venue located a short walk from Newtown station, which is only 2 stops by train from Central. Has a capacity of around 1500 seated, more can fit in when standing eg for concerts. Excellent acoustics from any section of the theatre and easy to grab a drink from the bar. Dozens of eating / drinking options at the door in Enmore Rd.

Went to a gig here at the start of the year. Relatively large theatre with sleek styling and great sound quality. The bold red, blue lighting was a highlight. Food and drinks were fine and the bar area was pleasant. Staff around were helpful. All of this made for a memorable 4.6/5 experience.
