Still can't read the menu as there is no direct lighting, but then again I am old and the eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be. I order the same thing every time so it is no hardship. The portions of fish are a great size and half a scoop is ample for me. You could call their servings generous. The serving staff and cooks always seem to be having fun so it's a great place for that Friday night f&c fix.
The fish tastes divine but 3 tiny pieces of fish is just not worth $12. Next time this happens I go back to driving to Sanson where the fish tastes great and is a decent size. I will not support greed. 16/09/2022 Ever since this review was done the fish size has increased considerably and since this is the best tasting fish in the Manawatu I will be happy to keep coming back.
The garlic naan and curry is amazing. They've really come a long way since they opened and has become my favourite take away. Slightly different to other indian take aways in palmy but more delicious!
Hawian burgers are only ham burgers which I was disappointed with as there was also no pineapple but the crabsticks were very nice
this was the best burger i ever had, it absolutely changed my life ever since i ate this marvelous piece of work i have been astounded by the amazing commitment of the amazing workings who are are amazing, this changed my life for the better and now i have dreams of having a big scrumptious bite into this masterpiece. 10/10 would go again
Sorry team but this is the worst butter chicken I have ever tasted! we took it back because it tasted like soap.you remade it but it was still unbeatable and the nan's were raw. fish and chip are ok but you should give up cook curry
Fish and chips are always good here. Scoop sizes are a little smaller compared to the competitor in town but other then that great stuff! :
considering the fact that a regular scoop of chips costs $2.80, and a scoop of garlic chips costs $4, i would really appreciate it if when I ordered garlic chips i actually got some freaking garlic butter on the damn chips. this isn't exactly too much of an annoyance however, when compared to the dank ass attitude received when I questioned this via phone call. when I call in with a kind and understanding tone to say "hey I've just come all the way home into town and noticed disappointedly that there's literally so little garlic butter on the chips you can't even really call it garlic chips, could I please get some more next time", I dunno whether or not I deserve to get a sarcastic ass response like "yeah whatever" regardless of whether you know a customer from previous encounters or not, and regardless of whether you like them or not, the customer should probably get what they paid for, and not receive sarcasm when freakin confronting a lack of product bro we'll be sure to stick to winnies next time
Damn good curry. Just like in India. Not too sweet like most European curries. Butter Naan is great too. Try the chicken Tikka Masala, hot.
Delish battered fish, crispy chips. So yum!
