From the edge of the Sahara to the edge of Perth. Our aim is to bring the amazing tastes of the regions surrounding the largest desert in the world to this growing city. This cuisine has been eaten in these areas for centuries and “The Edge of Sahara” provides an opportunity for you to enjoy these flavours in our city of Perth, on the fringe of its own desert. We have selected the best coffee available in town, 5 senses, and our Melbourne trained barista will make sure all your caffeine desires are meet. We also offer a unique in house roasted coffee where the coffee is prepared for you in the traditional Eritrean/Ethiopian way, where it has been part of everyday life for 100’s years. You not only get served great food, we provide a cultural experience, so as you step into our café you step into a little piece of Africa.
The edge of Sahara cares about the environment; we recycle our waste and used many recycled goods in building our café. Our produce is sourced from free range and seasonal ingredients where possible, with minimal food miles.
The edge of Sahara donate 5% of profit directly to the children in refugee camps, so each meal you have at our cafe will help the people who need it most.
