Marcelita’s catered our backyard party for 60 people absolutely seamlessly. Their food was absolutely delicious and raved by all and the atmosphere of having them on site doing all the cooking was great. They served all the guests themselves cocktail entrees and main buffet and it was just wonderful having not only such delicious food but also a relaxing catering experience where I didn’t have to check on anything at all. The whole setup and set down was efficient and they set up and packed down their whole kitchen with no fuss to the guests. Would definitely recommend them for a private event where you’re after some delicious and different food and want an effortless experience.
Some of the best empanadas i have ever had. Marcela and her husband are also wonderful people, making me feel welcome straight away. Very kind and professional. If your looking for colombian cuisine don't look past marcelitas 100% recommend and will be back time and time again.
Honestly such delicious and authentic empanadas. You can smell the food before you even get to their stall. Highly recommended and worth the trip to experience
We bought the combo pack that came with frozen empanadas, chorizos and lemonade.We had a good chat with the owner while we were there for the pickup. You will be given instruction on how to cook the frozen empanadas We were given the tip to use the air fryer if we have one instead of using the oven. It is so easy to use the air fryer to cook the empanadas and they came out so delicious. Love eating them with the salsa. We'll definitely be back to get more frozen empanadas
One of my go to stalls. Matt, Marcela and their staff do delicious food. It's ALL Gluten Free, and they have more than one vegetarian option. Food is fresh, tasty, and always consistent. The customer service is fabulous- Matt is a gem to deal with and will chat to you like you're an old friend once you become a regular. I love Marcelita's and happily seek out their stall for goodies whenever I know they're operating. We catered a big event with Marcelita's for a Christmas party and they were fantastic - well priced, huge amount of food, tasty and fresh and everyone RAVED about it. They were so easy and helpful to deal with and re setting up, I would 100% recommend. Thank you for always having a delicious option I can eat at markets!
I look forward to grabbing some delicious food every time we're at the same place or market! Never disappointed and the gang are always lovely. When the stars aligned I've managed to grab some food for home from their popup at the kitchen. Worth the drive, every time.
The most delicious Colombian food always accompanied by excellent customer service. They also now do their empanadas to buy and reheat at home - such a treat! Don’t hesitate to try these guys out - they are the best!
Just delicious!! . Got empanadas and chorizos for my wife’s birthday. Everyone loved it .. and for the first timers in experiencing Colombian - Latin food what a treat.. not to say for all time lovers of Colombian food.. delivered on time and ready to eat what a great experience.. when I come across Marcelitas around Perth’s markets I always get some of these delicious Empanadas and aguapanela !!
Stopped by today after ordering the Beef Brisket empanada special as well as some pork Chorizos. Also had their chorizo tortilla whilst there and some lemonade. Everything was delicious and high quality. talking to the owners you could also see the passion they have to deliver this food. The brisket empanada was a highlight - unbelievably they had smoked a brisket all evening to make these empanadas! a huge effort but well worth it. Ended up adding some extra potato empanadas to my order to take home and share with my life. thank you and cant wait to come again!
My family have always received the very best service here. We have 2 Coeliacs in our house and Matt & Marcela have always looked after us with our dietary requirements. The food is fresh, authentic and delicious. We look forward to visiting you again.
