Staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Our server was Molly she was exceptional and made our lunch experience special. She was attentive, bubbly and so helpful. The food was fresh and delicious and each course arrived at the table in good time. Even though it was a small menu there was something different for each of us. We all were very full after and couldn’t do dessert which was a shame cause it looked delicious. The bill was Around $55 each including 2 rounds of drinks which was very reasonable and satisfying. We had a great table by the window with fabulous views over the surf at Ocean Grove main beach. Not keen on the booths seating a bit uncomfortable. To help with ambience background music could be better. Would recommend enjoyed the afternoon with friends. If this info was helpful please like and follow my reviews. Cheers
Had a beautiful lunch at The Dunes. Easy ordering system at the table and great outdoor area where our puppy could join us! The burgers were delicious and the chips were crunchy. The southern fried chicken was so tender and juicy inside and tasted incredible with maple syrup and chilli sauce on top. We also enjoyed refreshing seltzer on tap. Highly recommend and would go back again in a heartbeat.
Nice wine selection, a nice atmosphere during a sunny day as well as rainy night. Nice food and reasonably priced for the quality. A good midweek dinner regular. Will definitely be coming back
Lovely dinner with the family, at the best table in the place! Amazing views and spectacular sunset, even through the rain. Staff were very helpful at first, but then sort of forgot about us for a while, so we had to get up and ask for the dessert menu after about 40 minutes. However, the food was fantastic, everyone enjoyed their meals. Dessert was sensational and pretty as a picture. Would definitely come back :
Absolutely beautiful location. Food was outstanding. Limited Selection, but was delicious. I would prefer less choice, but at a higher standard. We had the butchers cut to share $85, it was to die for. Highly recommend. Also the cocktails were delicious
Just been to The Dunes at Ocean Grove. What can we say: Ease of booking: fabulous Reception: fabulous Food: fabulous Wine: fabulous Cocktails: fabulous Staff: fabulous Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. There is nothing more to say. Go. You won't regret it.
Very cozy place with beautiful ocean just in-front of the window. Love this place. Thank you for a coffee, the best I’ve ever tried
Beautiful view this place has. Inside is very modern and spacey. Their pizza dough was amazing and fluffy. Was in the mood for seafood so had seafood pizza but I dont think it was a good topping. Their saganaki cheese was sooo yumm eventhough wont be good for your heart it was sweet & salty, just beautiful! The lettuce salad was also very nice. Their lemonade was very nice too. Overall happy and will come back again.
A view this good doesn’t require great food or customer service, but the dunes provides both. Most friendly staff anywhere I’ve been and the food is amazing. A lot of locals were nervous about revamping this wonderful place, but it is the jewel of ocean grove. Come here for a fancy dinner inside, or just beach drinks outside. Everything from the chips to the mains are superb. I brought my kids and sat outside for a lovely arvo with food and drinks. This may be my favourite place in ocean grove, Geelong and the entire bellarine!
The location is great but service and pizza really dissapointing. The waitress spilled our mocha. The pizza burnt! You need to clean your oven so we don't eat the carbon. Will not be back.
