The steak cut was wonderful, although the salad needed some sort of dressing otherwise it just tasted like a bitter bowl of vegetables. Dessert; sticky date pudding, was to die for - it was too good to be true. Perfect balance of the rich chocolate and a refreshing scoop of ice cream to wash it down. What I ordered: 220gram Grass-fed Eye Fillet, served with chips, salad and your choice of mushroom gravy, pepper gravy, garlic butter which I chose or hollandaise sauce. Sticky Date pudding with caramel sauce and ice cream.
Celebrated my birthday there with family tonight, all the staff were so friendly and helpful, a wonderful team of young people who went above and beyond to make our night go smoothly, food was great, all round service as fantastic. Appreciated it very much.. Thank you!!!Service: 5/5
The food was fantastic, however the steak was small for the price. Plenty of parking. The pub could do with a refresh as it came across as a bit old and dirty. A pub more suitable for the local regulars.Service: 4/5
Didn’t stay but have eaten here every time I visit - about four five times a year. Food delicious. Never been disappointed therefore keep returning. Great service too.
Funky smell in the beer garden, then we moved into the covered area so that we could order something other than pizza and chips. Ordering was by QR code only, and the supplied menu which differed from the online menu substantially didn't contain the gummy shark option. The bar staff argued with me but I stuck to my guns and eventually was allowed to order it at the counter. For $30 I was served the most apallingly abysmal piece of dry, unappetising fish, some chips, and a tiny bowl of salad. Can't recommend the food, although the entertainment solo guitarist/singer was outstanding.
Such a break down in communication it isn’t funny. Staff not to blame, but there is a serious need for an overhaul on how they operate. Booked a large group with baby chairs and were told on arrival that there were no baby chairs and we only had an hour for dining. Horrible communication and would rather eat in the McDonald’s toilet than return. Go somewhere else.
Food was ok but drinks were terrible, I order a fanta and received a drink with no bubbles and tasted like cordial, meanwhile my dad got a bottle of ginger beer bunderberg and received a 200 ml can of bunderberg.Service: 4/5
Disappointed with the upkeep of the pub. Smell of strong cooking oil when entering through the front entrance. This was a complete turnoff unfortunately.
Nice relaxing pub, very old style. Great on a weekend with music out the back beer garden.
Tried to book for 2 days, noone answered ir returned calls. Upon arrival asked about booking and because we did not have one were put outside even though all night there were free tables inside. Starters came out at same time as mains, chicken parma was overcooked and rates as one of the worst I have had.
