The Domain is a great park to sit and relax except when it is close to Christmas time when the Carols are on which I've been to about 5 times now and sat in different areas. My elderly mother and I loved the event the grand children had a ball at all the activities that they had available. I would recommend this event to anyone.
The Domain is a heritage-listed 34-hectare 84-acre area of open space on the eastern fringe of the Sydney central business district, Australia.[1] Separating the central business district from Woolloomooloo, The Domain adjoins the Royal Botanic Garden and is managed by The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust, a division of the Office of Environment & Heritage. The Domain is used as a venue for outdoor concerts, open-air events, large political gatherings and rallies, as well as being used daily by the people of Sydney for exercise and relaxation. Along with the Royal Botanic Garden, The Domain was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
Huge parkland in the city perfect for picnics and sports. Parking available at Wilsons Parking directly under the Domain. Located next to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Art Gallery of NSW. Pick up your rubbish and take it with you, don’t place in overflowing bins. Let’s all be responsible for keeping our parklands beautiful
The Domain Running Trail is perfect place to enjoy your sunny day in the idyllic surrounds of Sydney’s Domain.nnThe track adjoins the Royal Botanic Garden and offers the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Woolloomooloo as your backdrop.
Went to see Paramore here. Lovely spot. Bags galore, big fruit bats. No line at the bar. Weather was lovely. Hayley did a little dance. Might even be the best day of my whole life.
