in the of city with an amazing landscaping and sculptures. located beside St’s Mary Cathedral. Could take a thousands pictures here and… and a runner should take a morning run tour!!
A beautiful park located right at the heart of Sydney city with amazing landscaping and sculptures. The ANZC memory museum is at the south end, and a awesome water fountain is at the northern part. There are lots of huge trees in there and provide huge shadows for people to chill down in all the seasons. Just love it.
Beautiful public art - The Archibald Fountain is sublime. The gardens are a magnificent respite from the bustling CBD. The views over St Mary’s cathedral are stunning. So many quiet spots to sit and reflect. Haven’t even touched on the memorials. Beautiful place.
This is a very beautiful park in the middle of a busy city. There is a water fountain in the centre, St Mary Cathedral on one side, Australian Museum on the order, Hyde Park Barrack historical site and St James Church at one end, and Anzac Memorial at the other. The walking paths are spotless clean. Amazing park. Must visit!
Located on Elizabeth Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia nHyde Park is the oldest park in Australia and also one of the most well known parks in Australia . It’s very easy to get to, especially by train as you have both Museum and St James Railway Stations which both back onto the park. On its Southern end is the Anzac Memorial which is a worth a visit by itself. Other notable attractions in the park are the Archibald Memorial Fountain and the various other fountains around around the park eg the Busby’s Bore Fountain. St Mary’s Cathedral also connects to the park and that’s a fantastic and beautiful building. You also have the various statues situated around the park. I really liked the Yininmadyemi, Thou didst let fall monument.nThere’s plenty of tree’s and grassy areas for people to sit and relax and even have a picnic. If you wanted a cafe, you have the Hydeaway in the South of the Park connected to Museum Station.nHyde Park is a really great park to just wander around and look at and enjoy all the figurines and monuments, and there are plenty. Besides these, the gardens are so beautiful. Sydney is so lucky to have such an incredible park right in the centre of the city. It’s a popular place and there’s always plenty of people just enjoying this incredible park. I always love coming here and would definitely recommend it to visitors and locals who haven’t been. Thumbs up
