The worst time to be injured is while on holiday but if you are injured, you'd better hope that there's a Doc surgery like this one around. The reception staff were a great laugh and the medical staff were all extremely knowledgeable and professional. I wish that I lived local as these Doctors are quite unique with their knowledge. The amount of Doc hoping I do in CHCH and here they have the perfect clinic. This little town is so lucky and they probably don't even know it.
Quite a number of motueka people share this opinion; doctors are uninterested in really healing patients and are more worried about their psycheck and getting you out in 10mins! To go with that are extremely rude reception staff, what’s going on? Might be time to rethink your profession if it’s no longer about caring for people
Nickie or Vickie the manager is an awful women, yesterday I was hung up on by reception. They picked up the phone and put it back down instantly to stop the ringing . I tried a second time and it just kept ringing and they didnt even bother calling back so I left an email of complaint. Today I receive a call from a delusion of a women Manager crying unprofessional over the fact that I swore in the email and she ignored the fact that I had an emergency and needed an appointment. She refused to listen and now I have to find another doctors way out of town. I am shocked. Karma is coming for her soon.
I turned up at 8.30am on a Monday in the middle of the summer holidays with an ear infection. I had no appointment and was from out of town so was not a patient of the clinic. I was able to be seen by Dr Grainger almost immediately and in no time I had a prescription and was on the way to again enjoying my holiday. Thanks so much
We were on holiday when our daughters tonsillitis worsened. We got an appt with Dr Perry who realised she’d been given the wrong antibiotic from our own GP back home & prescribed her an antibiotic & took time to give her advice. She started feeling better after just one pill. We are so thankful, now able to enjoy our much-awaited holiday Highly recommend
If there’s other option, I would rate this clinic negative points. This place was really really bad. The service they provided was really bad. The way they treated me and my friend was rude and they are like discriminating us because we are not local. I made an appointment early in the morning and one of their receptionist told us to come at 4.15pm which 45 mins to their closing hour. However, we reach at 3.50pm and their receptionist asked us to wait at their clinic and someone will approach us. We waited for very long and someone came out and tell us that we never made an appointment so we have to wait until after 5pm to visit the emergency doctor. The way they talked to us were so impolite with the discriminating expression. My friend was actually suffering but no one intended to approach us. I went to ring the bell, they just ignored me. One of the nurse open the door, and closed it back. The one at the receptionist counter just looking at her hands.I really don’t understand what is their purpose of being a nurse or doctor if they have no intention to save someone’s life.
Doctors were rushed and not thorough. the manager doesnt seem to know whats going on and didnt follow their own protocol with my complaint. the nurses i saw had no bedside manner. they charge full price even when its an ACC claim. not a caring place.
The last four times i have made an appointment with the doctors it has been scheduled for 4pm, and each time i have waited until 5pm. If it wasn’t for the kind staff, and helpful doctors i’d rate it one star. I don’t think it’s appropriate to wait for an hour and hearing the same excuse.
Dont ever make an appointment with Gillian Hawkley. Horrible, blamed pains on something else coldhearted and completley not interested in helping you just there for revenue and cant give you what you need. Doesnt have a "magic wand" as she calls it to help people when they ask for pain killers to stop pain? Also made an elderly lady burst into uncontrollable tears as they couldn't be bothered to help. 0/10 would reccomend never going back pay the extra coin and go to greenwood
Very friendly staff, on time appointment, lovely doctor. Really appreciated them being able to see us so quickly!
