Story

Nestled within the Central Park Gardens on St Georges Terrace this beautifully appointed venue is like no other café in Perth’s city centre. Elevated on a purpose built deck with vistas over and amongst the trees of the open space, our ambition was to create an ambience and atmosphere that would allow you to escape the daily stress of working life.

“The Escape to the South West” – A venue which captures the emotion and excitement of what it means to “holiday” for every Western Australian. We have carefully selected prime, award winning Western Australian produce from the very best holiday spots in the southwest of Western Australia. Our coffee is 100% organic and hand roasted by Yahava located in the Vasse wine region. Our milk is award winning quality, additive and GM free, derived direct from a single origin farm south of Pemberton in the states southwest. We have sourced from Western Australia’s renowned and award winning producers of Chutneys, Jams and Honeys to further compliment our organic produce. This venue brings together the very best that Western Australia has to offer and we truly hope you come, taste and experience just that.

Our Coffee

Our coffee is 100% certified organic blend of two of the finest beans originating from Mexico and Peru Andes. Winner of 2 silver medals at the 2010 Golden Bean awards these beans have been recognised as one of Australia’s finest quality beans. Fully Rainforest alliance and Fair trade qualified, our beans are hand blended to our exclusive recipe prior to roasting in Yahavas Vasse wine region facility in the states southwest. Combined with what we feel is Australia’s greatest milk derived from a single origin farm south of Pemberton, we aim to create a consistent, well-balanced and deep flavoured coffee with a clean body that never fails to impress. In fact we guarantee the quality and consistency of our coffee every time.



Our Tea

We want to lift the bar on quality tea preparation in Perth. Each pot of tea is brewed for a minimum of 4 and a half minutes (may vary with variety) prior to leaf removal and presentation to your table. This means every drop, right down to the last, is perfect in taste. We have sourced Australia’s first 100% certified organic tea which has been born through Naturopath Lisa Hilbert. We offer a huge range of herbal infusions to promote better health, relaxation and happiness. We hope you enjoy the increase in quality we deliver to you.



Our Milk

Never underestimate the impact of milk quality on a perfect cup of coffee. That’s the message from our expert tem of baristas. Our milk is 100% WA dairy derived from a single origin farm south of Pemberton in Western Australia’s southwest. Our Farm Fresh Milk is as pure as nature intended and is processed using only traditional batch processing methods in order to achieve a ‘real’ milk flavour, the fresh flavour difference you will notice. All of our milk products are free of additives, including skim milk powder and permeate. All of our products are GM free. The milk is pasteurised using slower processes through low temperature methods which maintain milk proteins, creates a full flavoured and healthier milk alternative unrivalled in Australia. This milk is a first place “Champion Milk” winner of Western Australia in 2010.



Our Food

We are just as passionate about our food as we are our coffee! Our meat and poultry is derived from the best suppliers in Western Australia straight from the farms of Margaret River and Dardannup in Australia’s South West. Our potato chips are prepared 100% oven baked for a healthier, lower cholesterol and great tasting alternative. We want to add to your experience, not your waistline! We have sourced from Western Australia’s renowned and award winning producers of sauces, chutneys, jams and honeys to further compliment our organic produce.
