Ordered a grenadier pack - 2 crispy dimsims. The homemade potato cake was the highlight. Minimal chips that were so chalky and dry with minimal potato inside that it was somewhat hollow. The grenadier has a crisp batter but the fish was overly dry.
Veggie Dim Sims are pretty great. This is also one of the only places that does a good veggie souvlaki. We used to go here all the time when we lived nearby. I went twice lately while our new local was closed for a break. and was not let down by the food. It was pretty busy so recommend ordering ahead.

Great service, great food and great value. I know there are lots of fish and chip shops in Ferntree Gully however this one is AMAZING.
Yuck! Just yuck. Ordered the calamari pack. Looked like lumps of overcooked batter. On dissecting the batter the calamari was thin and stringy, dehydrated, dry and hard. Totally inedible. No calamari of any substance. I would be embarrassed to serve that as food.
I will certainly be back. Great tasting fish and chips. Ask them to make your fries crispy and you’ll be amazed
