Fresh, crunchy, consistent, owners are absolutely lovely and open at the best, most convenient, times they know when hunger needs are to be met. The burgers... are actual, mountain, real beef, chockablock loaded beautifully with nothing left out. Many different meal options available and truly cheap as chips! Highly recommended
Loved this place for the quality of the chips and potato cakes. Thick potato cakes and not oily. Good fish. Friendly, clean. Lately they are never open and there is no message on the answering machine. I've tried to order several times. Disappointing.
Food taste is standard, ordered the fish n chips and haiwaian burger. However note that the prices are higher than most other fish n chip joints in the south east buy a couple dollars.
Mountain Gate Fish and Chips shop really set the bar for all Fish and chip shops. So far I believe that Mountain Gate fish and chips shop is one of the best. I am a regular that visits this shop at least twice a week with the family. Every employee greeted me with a smile and were really welcoming. Not only is that great ,but I highly rate the food too! I really recommend everyone to try the food at Mountain Gate fish and chips shop! Thank you once again Mountain Gate Fish and Chips Shop!
The souvlaki was tasty, but the fish & potato cakes had a taste suggesting that the oil was overdue for a change.
