The Cricketers Arms is a pub with music, food, pool table and beer garden. We have an upstairs bistro, function lounge and cocktail bar 'The Pink Parrot.'

Story

Book a function Uptown at the Crix! Our upstairs dining area has The Pink Parrot Cocktail Bar, lounge area, dining room and the Cricketers Bistro.

Full room bookings only require a $300 catering fee payable prior to your event with a minimum of 60pax guests. The upstairs function room holds up to 120pax and is the only area we reserve privately.

Cricketers Bistro table bookings can be made by calling 0413 097 263 and speaking to Chef Tim. Function catering available with the team from Proudfoods - platters, banquet's and a la carte.

Lured here by the “best ever” crispy skin chicken Kiev’s and all the talk about the vibe. Happy to report the staff have been delightful, the beers were good, food on point and the vibe was great. We loved sitting outside the front with the fading remnants of the sunset and fresh air. Very cute little pub.  The Aperol Spritz was a little watery from a flavour perspective and I could have had a little more juiciness to the Kiev.  Would be happy to return.

Cute little courtyard, friendly people, and the food upstairs looked amazing. Need to go back and try the Sunday roast dinner

You have too visit the cricketer at least once in your life, great selection of beers and the food is not bad So try it.   The toilet graffiti is ...... worth a visit. And dog friendly

Epic gem of a Surry Hills pub, famous for inventing the AJ Simpson Jamison whiskey highball variation with 1/4 cloudy Apple juice, 3/4 Soda water, ice, lime wedge    Also the Chicken Kiev last night was pretty much the best pub meal I’ve ever had.  Huge roll of butterflied chicken breast running with buttery garlic sauce on the inside when you cut into it and crackling crispy on the outside. Damn. Vglad I ordered the same as a mate who was in the know about the Kiev. Thanks guys!

Easily the best pub in Sydney. What pub do you know that has a jazz band rock up on a Thursday and play a song about it that everyone sings along to? There's only one.

Awesome little local if you're that way. I had made a pilgrimage & was worth it. Love divy pubs with cobwebs & dust & no frills staff  & even dustier locals! My daughter & I will be back!

Love the Crix, but they need to update their hours. Turned up at 10.20pm on a Tuesday, only to be told they close at 10pm on Tuesdays. Apparently, I should've hacked their internal system and checked their house roster and not google hours. My bad.

Customer service was very average, staff were very abrupt and unhelpful when taking our order. Steak was cooked above request and burger was dry. Seemed like a slower night so expected better service and food quality. The outdoor area seemed like a good area for functions.
