As a regular customer I love the availability and variety of fruit and vegetables. The deli is great and the butcher is especially worth a visit... lots of quality meats to choose from and the manager John is only too happy to help out with specific requests. The pork rack is my go to!
Great produce & Customer service is always outstanding, I was a customer in the store at the time of an altercation yesterday, the review/comment that a customer has left is a complete lie, the lady was not rude at all, infact the customer was the rude one and he wouldn't stop abusing the register girls. Register workers were respectful and friendly to him, there was no racism at all and the racism card should not be used when there was no racism at all!!! But he was just absolutely awful to those register girls.nNo worker walked off for a cigarette, they continued to serve people and work hard so it's a bunch of rubbish.nnKeep up the great work girls, to the manager... your workers do not deserve to be treated with such rudeness and disrespect, was sad to see a male be so condescending and awful to such great staff.
We have been shopping here for years but unfortunately we recently seen that the butchers pays their staff cash and fire them without any notice. Hire staff without having the correct visa's.They put lamb bones in the goat curry and still sell it as goat. Tubs of sausage mince on the floor.nThe sausages are always sticky and have a mixture of meats in them. If it says beef but it's pork, lamb, beef, chicken you name it.nThey have multiple of the same flavours and give them different names.nI have seen the manager turn bad burgers inside out so they look good and then put them back in the window.nI have also seen the manager wash off chicken in a tub of water so it doesn't smell. Then sell it.nThe fruit and veg is a different owner so I don't hold it against them but they are allowing this dodgy butcher in there.nWe are local and very disappointed
I am one their old customer more than 10 year I buy my all veggie from them but from few months not very good experience. I found that staff is very rude .I want to share only my today experience i took my kids with me to veggie market as they have school holidays my daughter she was eating cherry while putting in bag and I was picking up other stuff when I was at Register lady came to my daughter asked her pick up her spited seed and tell her not to eat fruits they not to eat . my daughter felt so scared and embarrassed as she is ony 7 ask me to come with her to pick her rubbish, she picked up her rubbish with me i .lady could aproch her nicely and tell her to use bin. as kids go with us at woolworths all the time they provide fruits to eat for kids .so kids don't know if they suppose eat or not .my daughter said she don't want go to that market ever again .I also mentioned to the lady who was serving me but was not willing to listen. while I was taking she want serve next customernit was very disappointing experience today .nit also break kids confidence having rude approach to them.felt them not included to be there .
One stop to buy all fresh vegetables and fruits at a very reasonable price. Parking is a bit tight but plenty of parking on side streets.
