A Sunday brunch at the foot of the mountains. This Church turned Cafe was such a great spot. Options to sit indoors or outdoors. We chose outside which was fortunate because there was some live music playing at this cafe and was just as enjoyable as the food. All day breakfast option. Interesting hot beverage options that are mouth watering. The smell of the food cooking on the outdoor grill was enough to entice anyone walking by. Thoroughly enjoyed this cafe.
Friendly staff and a great location, but the food was lacklustre and took around an hour to come out at a time when the cafe was about half full and definitely wasn’t worth the wait. The food was two burgers and avo toast. The avo toast took 40 mins, the burgers over an hour and, when they arrived, they were each a single patty not double like the menu said, dry, and boring as with some packet chips. The avo toast looked far better, but unfortunately looked better than it was. Sorry guys, give this place a miss unless it’s got a soft spot for you as a local.
The Church has now changed hands and I can confirm their toasties are actual perfection, the staff are kind and patient when you’ve got a scrambled brain from trail running, and their peach iced tea is perfect. Lovely space, atmosphere, and good people. Get the brisket toastie it is next level.
We love the Sunday morning jazz sessions, it’s a great opportunity for very talented local musos and the gig has a lovely friendly vibe. Service is great, coffee excellent with a nice breakfast food range, from a light bite to something more substantial.
A warm spicy hot chai masala latte that brighten my day at Church cafe.
1 star is for the coffee. The customer service is terrible. I ordered the bacon and egg burger/role. They didn’t prepare it. The rest of my table received their food. I asked what looked like the owner, was mine coming. He didn't even acknowledge me or check. He just said it was on the grill. But it wasn't. 20 minutes later I heard the staff whispering the order wasn’t prepared. But no staff came and apologised. They just tried to ignore me. Another 10min had past, I asked the owner, what was going on. Still no apology from him. Basically, just ignored me again. Another 10 minutes past still no meal. The rest of my table was finished. I went up and asked for a refund. He said we are looking for the meal.... I said I just want my money back. I heard him say to his staff. Well at least we have 1 less bacon and egg to make today. I won’t be back.
One of the best gem in Glenbrook. Great place to have easy get away from Sydney. Flavourful food and well known Campos coffee.
Went to Church on a Sunday & had a heavenly experience. Seriously... such a great place! Was not busy when we arrived. Ordered coffee, tee, bae roll and banana bread and everything was 10/10!! Definitely will be coming back!
Quaint little place in an old church building. Mix of inside and outside covered and uncovered seating. Good outlook over the local nursery. Great mix of menu items and specials more on weekends. Excellent Campos coffee.
We are regulars at this little gem. Lots of seating outside to enjoy the Glenbrook sights. It never disappoints with the best coffee in the mountains,.
