I really love the food here, but the friendly service has very much gone. I would can’t say that COVID is the issue for this, which many places are blaming the lack of friendly service on. I’d like to see the service improve. I’m a local and expect more. Change of staff is needed.
Have tried for the first time the 50% rye sourdough bread this weekend: best bread in the area. I am looking forward to come back and try all the others!
The smell of fresh bread and pies has drawn me into many a village bakery. This one another one. My boy and I shared a chocolate eclair and took home a loaf of walnut sourdough. Both of which were top notch. The pies will have to wait another day. Will definitely be back when in Glenbrook next time.
Consistently good coffee and artisan loaves. Love the Mediterranean Fruit loaf.
Great bakery, fresh bread and pies, nice coffee too
The sausage rolls were great but the chicken and leek pies which we bought for our dinner where terrible. The pies where laden with raw garlic. Very dissapointed for $8.50 each pie. Mine is sitting on my plate uneaten.
Great place for a pie. Park across the road to eat it if the weathers nice.
