With only days to organize a wedding cake for my nephew’s wedding, which was brought forward a couple of months due to his dad being very ill, we popped into the Cheesecake Shop with an exact idea as to what we wanted. A collection of autumn foliage from their my brother’s beautiful garden and a couple of flowers from the local florist.nSue-Mia apologies if this is spelled incorrectly was so helpful, so friendly and so sympathetic to our situation. We chose the strawberry cream cake. Nice and light with a cream icing over the whole double tiered cake. We took the foliage and flowers into the shop the day before collection, and spoke to the cake decorator another delightful person to deal with. The following day Anzac Day we collected the cake at 1.30pm. The wedding was an hour later.nWe could not have been happier with the taste, the look of the cake, or the service.nBeing from interstate, I wanted to write this review. This was exceptional service from start to finish, and I hope that through this review and from the comments received at the wedding, this little business reaps the rewards from what they did for us. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Gone downhill over the years. Prices up, quality down. I'm really disappointed with the Beesting torte I bought on Friday. On the hour drive home, the glaze had melted, and chocolate decorations had sunk into the icing, which i found interesting as i was told the cake was chilled and couldn't be cut for around an hour. Poor distribution upon cutting. No flavour at all. Basic plain sponge cake with a very basic icing.
nI bought a birthday cheesecake on 11/7/2025 for my son and it was absolutely delicious! The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back for another cake!
also sent as an email yet to receive a replynnAs a frequent customer I feel the need to share my disappointment after picking up an order on Friday the 14th.nnI was so excited to order a dessert box, but when I collected it, it felt really cold but I put it in my car and headed home. Once home I opened it, to discover basically all the cakes etc just chucked in all on top of each other. I also discovered that it must have been frozen because all the desserts and strawberries were hard as a rock.nnAs you can imagine once it thawed out it was incredibly soggy… we had to throw out a lot of the desserts. for $50 I am incredibly dissatisfied.
Probably a good idea to have a price tag on the candles... And if you compare their cakes go the cheesecake shop in Brisbane, they make it a bit sweeter I thought they would use the same recipe? So there was a slight disappointment there.
