(Serious review time) 

Cool place, but a little too intense for my taste. 
I came in for batch brew; which is $4 I think, and i was informed that they did not have it. Instead of offering a filter coffee for the same price (which is pretty customary for a Melbourne cafe which they try so hard to be) i had to pay $9 for a filter coffee. 

Being a barista i know you guys could have very easily had a batch brew running, instead i had to pay 50% more money for the coffee I wanted. 
Not cool. 

I feel bad for leaving this review because the staff was absolutely lovely and coffee was great. But still, not a happy experience, probably won’t be coming back.

This place seriously warms my heart. I never give reviews but this place and the incredible team deserve some serious recognition. Loaded with beautiful coffee and knowledge the wonderful staff produce not only top range beverages but flawless service. Thank you all

This is up there with the best in Cairns when it comes to good coffee and great snack options, but the younger staff members could smile more. I go there regularly and find them a little too serious, not overly friendly like the older staff (probably the owners).

The Chamber Room is amazing! Consistently great coffee, passionate, knowledgeable and friendly owners/staff. A wide range of options and new experiences available. I highly recommend this place if you love your coffee!
Revisit 6/7/17 - still awesome coffee!!! Worth travelling for. 😁
